Chapter 45~ Re-Do

Tris POV(time lapse to Friday)
This weeks gone by fast and been pretty uneventful. I'm in our bedroom now working on homework with music blaring, tobias isn't home yet. "Hey tris!" I hear someone call out. Now he's home. "In here!" I yell back and turn the music off. "Hey!" He says running in. He has a huge grin on his face. I laugh, "What's with you??" I ask. He smiles more and sits next to me. I put my homework back into my bag and give him my full attention.

"Alright, as you know we have a 3 day weekend, and our last vacation didn't go as planned correct?" He asks. "Yeah, why?" I ask with a mixture of confusion and leeriness. "Because we are having a redo vacation, just the two of us." He says. "Really?" I ask and he nods. "Here." He says handing me a piece of paper. A plane ticket. "Oh tobias!" I say wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him.

"I'm glad your excited. Now start packing missy, our plane leaves in 4 hours!" He says. "Today?!" I ask. He nods. "What?!" I scream and scramble off the bed. "I have to pack within 3hours!" I exclaim. He chuckles and I fling a hanger at him. "Hey! Watch it!" He jokes. I smile and grab my suitcase.

An hour and a half later Im all packed. "See was that so hard?" Tobias asks coming into my room, He's snacking on an apple. "Easy for you to say.. You took 15 minutes!" I say. He smirks and I kiss his cheek. I bring my bags to the living room and plop down on the couch. "We should start for the airport." He says. I sigh loudly and dramatically, he laughs and squeezes my thigh before getting up.

He goes in and out of the apartment, putting our bags on the car. We drive to the airport and we make it with 20 minutes to spare. "You okay?" I ask him as we find a seat. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He says. "Because we're getting on another plane." I say. "In the air." I add. "Um. Yea, im fine." He says. He smiles to try and reassure me but I know he's scared. "Flight 16B" the intercom calls out. "That's us." I say. We get up and hand the lady our tickets, the woman looks beyond bored.

We find our seats and I automatically take the window seat. Tobias sits down next to me and keeps bouncing his leg. "You'll be fine." I whisper in his ear. I kiss his cheek and lace my fingers in his.

Tobias fell asleep after we took off and has been asleep for the past 3 hours. He's so peaceful and calm when he sleeps, looks as if he has no care in the world. Looking at him you wouldn't be able to tell that he's been through a life of unimaginable pain.

Tobias starts to stir and his eyes flash open. "Hey there sleeping beauty." I whisper. He laughs and turns his head towards me. "We're going to land soon." I tell him, I know he wanted to know. "I love you tris." He says. I blush. "I love you too." I say before going in for a kiss.
