Chapter 19~ Crap

Tris POV
I wake up and check my clock. Damn it! 15 minutes to get to school!

I change as quickly as I can into denim shorts and red tank top, white cotton blazer, and sandals. I grab the red purse that matches my shirt and pull my hair into a side braid. I put on minimal make up and fish downstairs. Caleb had already left for school, which was awesome! (Note the sarcasm)

I run out the front door and see tobias getting into his car. "To-Four!" I yell. "Hey tris." He says as I run up to him. "Can I.... Get... A .. Ride?" I ask out of breathe. "Sure. But it's gonna cost you." He says smirking. "No time!" I yell. He laughs and we get in. I strap in and he starts pulling out of the driveway. "Thanks." I say and he says your welcome. "So you going to the beach tonight?" He asks. "Yea. I told everyone I would, and that you'd be there with me." I say. "How do you know I want to go??" He asks joking. "One because you have to, second I'll be there with you and three because it'll be fun!" He laughs and I smirk. "You'll be in a bikini right?" He asks and I roll my eyes. We get to school with 4 minutes till class. I rush to my locker and then to first period. "We made it!" I say out of breathe again. "Where were you?" Chris asks coming up to me. "Home. Slept late." I say pulling out a pen.

"Alright class! We have a pop quiz today! Take your pencils out!" The teacher announces. Crap! I look over at tobias and whisper "I'm gonna fail!" She passes out the test and I can tell I know none of the material on it. I look at number one... It's multiple choice but I'm still clueless. Tobias taps the table twice. I look over. 'What?' I mouth. He taps it again twice. I look at my paper. 'B?' I mouth and he nods his head just barely. I fill in B. I look at the next question, one tap. A. He helps me through all ten question.

The bell rings and we get out. Once we are at our lockers I turn to him. "Thank you. For helping me." I say with a small smile. "Welcome. I was happy to help." He says and kisses me and then we part for class.
