Chapter 42~ Apologies and wittle baby shoes

Tris POV
I wake up and I find myself on the couch, with tobias holding me close. Then the memories of last night swarm my mind.

I turn the lights off and carefully slide under the covers. Normally once Tobias's arms wrapped around me id be out cold, but I kicked him out. What was his problem though! I understand his anger and frustration but that was over the top. I look at the time and I'm still wide awake. I need tobias, I need him to hold me. I get out of bed and slip my silk robe on over my short red lacy nightgown. I pull my hair back into a messy bun and open the door quietly. I peek out and see tobias curled in a ball on the couch. I tip toe over and lift the blanket off him and slip in with him.

His arms automatically wrap around me and this is what I needed. "I'm sorry." I whisper. I have a feeling that he's awake. "I'm sorry too baby." He whispers back and I smile. He kisses my temple and I'm out.

"Morning." Tobias says sitting up as well. "Hey." I say and stand up. "I'm going to shower and then get some breakfast." I tell him. We woke up early so we have time before school. I grab a red tank top, long black sweater and black shorts. I shower and pull my hair into a curly ponytail. I do my make up while tobias gets in the shower and then I go out and make breakfast for the both of us.

"Smells good!" Tobias says coming out of the bedroom drying his hair with a towel, he's wearing some graphic tee, and jeans. "Thanks." I say and peck him on the lips. "Shauna texted me and asked both of us to come with her and zeke to after school shopping." I say. I watch his emotion go from happy to disgust of shopping. "Hey! If Zeke can go you can go!" I say. "But I bet Shauna's making him go." "Well that's exactly what I'm doing!" I say with a smirk.

------TIME LAPSE-----
We get out of fourth period and get ready to go to lunch. "So how did four react?" Shauna asks coming to my locker with me. "Wrinkled his face in disgust but what else is new!" I say and she laughs. "That's exactly what Zeke did!" She exclaims and I shut my locker. "And that's why they're friends." I say. We laugh as we enter the cafeteria. "Hey tris!" Mar says waving. "Hey! How was your date last night?" I ask remembering her going on about uriah taking her out yesterday. "Good." She says. "Your hiding something." I say. Chris and Shauna join us. "What?" "It either went horrible or something amazing happened!" Chris states.

Marlene sighs loudly and laughs. "Fine. It's was amazing! He took me to this fancy place and then we went dancing after! And we kissed and we.." "I'm good on details." I say holding up a hand. The guys soon join us so we stop gossiping.

Shauna, Zeke, tobias and I all walk into a baby store. The place is huge and the walls are painted white with pink and blue bubbles. "Look at this!" Tobias says to me holding up a little shirt. It's a boys shirt, it's a captain America shirt that has the shield on it and says "Daddy's little superhero" underneath. "That's adorable." I say. He laughs and puts it back. He's really cute in this environment, he'll defiantly be a great dad.

"I'm getting these! Aren't they the cutest things ever!" Shuana squeals. She's holding a pair of leopard print flats. "Do you know the gender?" I ask. "Not yet. But I'm getting them anyway!" She says all excited. "Well I'm getting these!" Zeke says. He's holding little tiny boys tennis shoes. "What if it's a girl?" Shauna asks. "What if it's a boy?" He says back to her. She shrugs and they carry on.

Looking around and looking at Shauna and zeke, but most of all looking at tobias and how his face lights up. The way he loves all this baby stuff makes me really picture a future with him. I guess I've always seen a future with him but know it's getting a little clearer.
