Tris POV
It's Monday, and the start of my last week as a high schooler. It's crazy to think that I'll be in collage after this summer passes.

"You ready babe?" Tobias asks. He's leaning against my locker, waiting for me to put some materials back in there. We're walking to health class together, since we have the same teacher and class period.

"Yeah, sorry." I say and shut my locker closed and grab Tobias's hand to hold.

"What were you thinking about?" He asks me. I look away from the dirty trashy tile ground of the hallway and look up at him, his beautifully sculpted face. With lips that make me want to melt every time I kiss them, and eyes that make me fall in love with him more and more as I stare into them.

"Life I guess." I say with a shrug. ""Life huh?" He asks with a smirk.

"Yes." "Am I part of this life of yours?" He asks taking his hand out of mine, and wrapping it around my waist. Bringing me closer to him.

"Of course you are." I say not being able to imagine my future without him. "What about me? Am I in your future?" I ask and see our classroom up ahead.

"Well.. I don't know." He says looking away from me. "What?" I ask getting nervous.

"I'm kidding Tris. Of course you are in my future, you are my future." He says and I wrap my arms around his neck, bringing him into a kiss.

He picks me up so I can wrap my legs around his waist, and he leans me against some bulletin board. We kiss heavily until Chris runs over to us.

"So your make out session here isn't really bothering me, but I think it might bother the principal that's about to walk over." She says and walks away. I laugh, so Tobias and I break apart and walk into the classroom.

"Alright class. For the final class project that will only be today, and be here in the class period. You and a partner of the opposite sex-" She gets cut off by boys snickering at the words sex, all the girls including me roll our eyes in annoyance.

"As I was saying, you and that partner will be taking care of a baby, and based on how you did. That will be your final grade for this class." She says and walks back up to her desk.

She's about thirty, and loves to dress in skirts with flower patterns, and fancy blouses. She has thick rimmed orange glasses that sit perfectly on her nose, and brown hair with bits of highlights here and there.

"Partners?" I hear a male voice ask behind me. I turn to see Tobias waiting patiently for my answer. "Well..." I say and chew at the end of my pencil, I see his face droop.

"I'm kidding." I say and walk up to him. "Shall we go get our baby?" He asks. "We shall." I say and walk to the front and stand in line.

"Tris and four. Surprise Surprise." Our teacher says with a grin. "Here's your list." She says handing Tobias the list of all the things we are going to have to do. And then she hands me the baby.

"It's a boy." She says, and with that we walk back to our desks. There are supplies all around so we're set.

"What's first?" I ask Tobias. "Feeding." He answers. "With a bottle right?" I ask kind of already knowing the answer, but wanting to make sure. "Yes. But I wouldn't mind the other way." Tobias says whispering the last part with a smirk. I elbow him and grab the bottle.

"We have to make the formula." I tell him. "Why me?" He whines. I roll my eyes, "Because I'm holding the baby." I tell him. He sighs and starts mixing things together. "Make sure that it's the right temp-" "I know." He says cutting me off and screwing the cap on.

"Here" He says and he looks proud of what he accomplished. I start feeding our baby when I hear Uriah's yells. Everyone turns to him, and Marlene hides her face in her hands from embarrassment.

"It peed on me." He complains and I laugh, along with everyone else. The teacher soon goes over to help him, telling him it's not real urine.

"What's next?" I ask putting the bottle down. "Diaper change." He says and I hand him the baby, since we're supposed to switch off and on. "Powder first." Tobias says out loud but I know he's just thinking out loud to himself.

I watch as he carefully wraps it on the baby, trying to be as gentle as he can. Although it's not a real baby, nor our baby, he treats it as if it were.

"Okay, Tris. You're up. Swaddle." Tobias says moving to the other side, still close though.

"Umm." I say grabbing the blue blanket. I begin to wrap him up, luckily they gave us a sheet if we needed help. I get him all bundled up, and show Tobias.

"Babe, he can't move or breathe." He says and he's right. It's tighter than it should be and its chocking him around the neck. Now I hide my face in my hand, not from embarrassment but to hold the tears back.

"See, he's fine now." Tobias says showing a perfectly wrapped baby. "Now it's the last thing and my turn which is to get him to sleep." Tobias explains to me, but I'm still upset.

"Tris, what's wrong?" He asks with the baby laying across his chest and his other hand on mine.

"I'm going to be a horrible mother." I say and choke on the burning tears.

"Tris, hey look at me." He says and I do.

"You're going to be a great mother. This isn't our kid, so it'll be totally different." He explains.

"Tris, when we have children, it'll be challenging because that's what having kids are like. But they're going to our children and our family. So it'll be different." He tells me and I smile at how he talks about our life in the future like that.

"I love you." I whisper. "I love you too." He whispers back.
