Chapter 25~ In awe

Tris POV
After my nap Christina came by and randomly took me to the mall. We spent at least an hour there and she never told me why.

She dropped me back at home and I'm so tired. I open the door to my bedroom and close it behind me. I hang my purse on the door and I see something sitting on my bed. It's a box. A fancy box. I walk over to it and see it's from tobias. I open the card first since its on top.
Tris~
I wanted you to open this before opening your gift.
Now slowly take the ribbon off and slide the top of the box off.

I don't read any further but instead do as the note said. It's beautifully wrapped. Once the ribbons untied and off i slide the top of the box off carefully. Sitting neatly on the box looking back at me is one of the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen! It's a dark shade of orange. Sitting next to it are sparkly gold heels! I read the rest of the note.

Will you go to the dance with me?

I smile uncontrollably and move my hand over my mouth In shock. I can't believe he did all this! The dress, the shoes, and how romantic it all was. Suddenly there's a knock at my door. I open it up and there with a dozen roses is tobias. "Oh tobias!" I say and hug him tightly. "Yes. Yes I'll go to the dance with you!" I tell him and he kisses me.

I pull back to look at the roses he brought me. "They're beautiful!" I say and he smiles more. "I saw the dress and I thought it would look amazing on you. Then the shoes looked good with it." He tells me and I smile. "I love it! I can't believe you did all this!" I say. "Well believe it. Oh and Christina helped a little, she got you out of the house." He says. "Wait! That costed me an hour of mall time!" I say joking. "Oh you'll live!" He says and I kiss him again.
