Tris POV
I wake up to Tobias's phone ringing, I groan but decide not to get up. I can tell that it isn't in the morning, or at least late in the morning. Because there is no sunshine, just the black of night. I hear Tobias mumbling things, talking to the person who called him early in the morning. I feel the bed dip and Tobias get up. I sit up, yawning.

"Who was it? "I ask and see that the clock says 1:24 in morning.

"Zeke." He says. "We got to go, they think Shauna's going into labor." He says. What? It would be too early.

"She's having bad pains and contractions." He says and I get out of bed. We slip on different clothes, and grab shoes.

"Are they at the hospital?" I ask Tobias pulling my hair into a messy bun for the moment.

"Yes." He says and grabs his phone and keys. We run down to the parking lot and Tobias starts to drive. Since it's dark out, it's hard for us to see signs and exits. And that always bothers Tobias, when he misses something on the road.

"Where's the damn exit?!" He mumbles getting frustrated. "You mean the exit you passed?" I ask, and he hits the steering wheel with his hand.

"Just turn around." I say. He does so, by pulling into a pharmacy's parking lot and turning around.

Soon enough we're on the right road, and right exit about two miles from hospital. "Did zeke mention anything about what the doctors said?" I ask as he pulls into a parking space.

"No. Just to come, and the room number." He says as we run up to the doors. The hospital is very big but thankfully zeke told Tobias the room number and that it's close to where we are now.

Tobias runs up to the front desk and begins to talk to a young woman working there. He comes back to me, "She said take a left and the room number is 159." He says and we follow the directions. It's not very busy in the halls which helps since they're kind of small.

We find the door and knock before going in. Zeke opens up, his face red and blotchy.

"Hey. Thanks for coming." He says and we walk in. Shauna's laying in the bed, her face red and sweaty. You can tells she's been crying but you can't blame her.

I walk to the bedside and hold her hand. She looks to me, with a small thankful smile. "Hi guys." She whispers. "Hi Shauna. How you doing?" I ask her, Tobias is talking to zeke in the corner. "Okay." She answers.

"Tris, what if she comes early??" Shauna asks. How do you answer that for someone?

"Then that just means she really wanted to meet you guys." I say and that makes her smile. "You'll be fine honey." I reassure her.

The door opens and a doctor comes in. "Hi Shauna, zeke." He says acknowledging them. "So good news, you aren't going into labor." He says and I squeeze Shauna's hand.

"Then why she in so much pain?" Zeke asks concerned. "She's experiencing what we call Braxton hicks contractions." He explains and I've heard of what he's talking about. "They are quite common, and usually happen during the second trimester." He says. "You guys are okay to leave when you feel up to it." He says and leaves.

"She's happy in here." Shauna says patting her stomach. "Yeah she is." Zeke says kissing his girlfriend on the lips.

I'm back with Tobias in the corner, watching their affection. And I can actually see us like that. How concerned Tobias would be, and how our love would always come out in the end.

I smile at the thought and look up at Tobias who's looking down at me. As if we were thinking the very same thing. He leans down and kisses me, our love coming out in the end of this.
