Tobias POV
Today's the big day! The big game! I sit up and look over to see tris still sleeping, it makes me smile, I like watching her sleep. She's peaceful and calm, "It's creepy to stare at someone sleeping." Tris mumbles and I laugh. She sits up, "You excited??" She asks grabbing her sweatshirt and pulling it over her head. "Yeah." I say. "Were you able to get back to sleep?" She asks me.

I had another nightmare last night, probably the worst I've ever had. "Yeah.." I say as the memories flood into my mind. Seeing Marcus hover over a bleeding and broken tris, she laid there getting the scars I've gotten all my life. And I couldn't do a thing, nothing. "Tobias??" Tris asks waving her hand in front of my face.

"Oh sorry." I mumble. Her hand caresses my cheek, sending warmth through it. "You okay?" She asks with concern in her voice. "Yeah, it just... hurt." I tell her. She kisses my cheek and gets out of bed. "Come on champ! Get ready!" She says smiling. I laugh and go get in the showers.

****
I never thought the school day would end, it seemed longer today. Probably since I'm nervous and anxious for tonight. Tris and I ride home in silence, but the silence isn't bad or awkward. We get in and we go to change, I throw on a simple black tank top and shorts since I'll change into my uniform there.

"Hey tobias!?" Tris asks peering into the bedroom where I am currently sitting. "Yeah?" I ask looking to her. She stands there, but has a big black box in her hand. "What's that??" I ask as a smile starts creeping up my face. "Well.. It's a little good luck present." She says sitting next to me on our bed. She hands it to me and smiles. There's a teal colored bow on top, adding color to the blank black box.

I lift the top off and staring right at me, is the glass sculpture my mother gave me. Except this time.. It's not in shards of glass, it's fully together and you can't even tell it was broken. I lift it out and set it on my lap, a tear falls from my cheek and drops onto the sculpture, the tear rolls down the glass until it hits the floor. I never thought I'd see it whole again, put together again.

"Tris." I say. I look to her, which is hard as the tears are clouding my vision. "This.." I try to say but I can't even finish my sentence. I'm in disbelief, I can't explain what this means to me. All the memories she was able to mend, to fix.

"Is it okay?" She asks looking nervous. "Is it okay?? Of course! I mean this is.. Just amazing!" I say. "Really?" She asks. I nod vigorously. "I had it fixed a couple days ago." She explains. I pull her into me and hold her tight. She pulls back and looks into my eyes.

"Thank you tris." I say and she kisses my lips softly. "Now come on, you have a game to win." She says and I laugh.
