Chapter 39~ Small bump in the road

( A/n: Hey all! Before I start just wanted to clear something up.. Tris is not pregnant! Only Shauna.)

Tris POV
It's already 7th period and us girls think something's up with Shauna. She's been avoiding everyone even Zeke, she hasn't talked except for when the teacher calls on her, and she seems real emotional. The bell rings and we take our seats. "Shauna?" I ask sitting next to her. "Hm?" She says not looking up from her phone. "What's up?" I ask concerned. She looks up and her eyes are red but she still has her perfect make up on. "Can't tell you here." She whispers as the teacher comes in.

The bell rings for us to go home and I catch up with Shauna in the parking lot. "What's up Shauna?? For real?" I ask leaning up against her car. She drove separately from Zeke which is odd for them. "I'm.. I'm pregnant." She says. I watch as her face changes color and her eyes get glassy. "Pregnant?" I ask making sure I heard right. She nods. "Are you excited?" I ask. "Yes! No. I guess I'm both." She says. "Zeke's scared out of his mind and my parents aren't happy." She says. "I'm here for you." I say and she smiles. "Thanks." And we hug.

I catch up with tobias and we drive home, it's silent and I feel that we both have secrets we're hiding. We get home and I change into grey sweats and a lava see tank top. I find tobias on the couch so I go join him. "Hey." I say sitting on his lap. "Hey babe." He says kissing my temple. "I have some news." He says and I turns to him. "Shauna's pregnant." He says and I'm a bit shocked he knows.

"Zeke told me." He says. "Shauna told me!" I say and we laugh. "I'm happy for them." I say leaning against his chest. "Yea." He says. I sit up and look at him.

"Would you ever want kids?" I ask. "Of course I would!" He says and I feel warm inside. "Right now just isn't my ideal time." He adds. "Yea. I'd like to have kids. To have kids with you, just not now." I say and he smirks. "Id be honored if you had my children." He says. I can't help but laugh.
