Tris POV

It's Thursday. Prom night. We all went to school and now it's evening. I was with Tobias all day, knowing that we wouldn't be able to see each other till prom, since we have to get ready.

The girls and I are at our place and Tobias went with the guys to Zeke's house. Our dresses lay perfectly on the bed as we do each other's hair and make up. "Tris hold still." Chris scolds me.

She's currently doing-trying to do my hair. She has big pink curlers in her hair, and she has a curling iron in hand using it on my blonde hair. Marlene has hers done, and is now on make up.

Her hair looks great, the top of her hair is braided and then stops. Leaving the rest of her hair in a pile of curls on her shoulder.

Shauna pulled the top of her hair back and the rest of her beautiful brown hair is in ringlets. She also sprayed her hair with silver glitter, a touch that literally makes her sparkle.

Finally I'm done and Marlene comes over to do my makeup, luckily she knows and respects that I want it natural. And I have to admit, that when she finishes, I really do look pretty.

"Dress time!" Chris shouts and I know that she's excited to get into her bright pink dress.

I slip mine on carefully, and get Shauna to zip up the back. Shauna looks so pretty, and her dress makes her pregnant belly look even better than it already does.

The girls convinced me into wearing lingerie, something I hardly ever where. But apparently we're all wearing it, and Chris claims that Tobias will totally want me tonight.

I honestly laughed at that but it would be nice for once to feel sexy in front of him. He tell me I'm already sexy but it's different having someone telling you that and actually feeling that way about yourself.

I look in the mirror, myself, with blonde bouncing curls. Glittering eyes, and perfectly black nails. And the dress, hugging parts of my body and the rest flowing down.

I'm stunned at how great I look, how the dress and make up makes me look. I smile and Marlene comes up behind me, in her purple dress that suits her personality.

"Here's your shoes." She says and hands me my tall black heels. "Thanks." I say and smile.

I told them not to put lipstick on me, instead I put on the cherry chap stick I have on often. It's something Tobias likes and something special for us.

I slip the shoes on and I'm complete. Prom ready.

I must've been looking in the mirror for quite sometime, because I don't even notice that the girls headed out of the bedroom. "Tris!" I hear Shauna call. "Coming." I yell back.

But I don't make it out the door before someone comes in to get me. And that person..

Just happens to be my prince.

"I'm looking for a princess.. Is she in here?" I look up, and smile.

"You're looking at her buddy."

(A/N: I know it's a short chapter, the next should be much longer.)
