Chapter 22~ Reminds me of you

Tobias POV
Tris and I get out of the water and come back to our towels. They sun was beginning to set, it was beautiful with the ocean. The guys and other girls were playing and swimming in the water, while tris and I were huddled under a towel together. "Tris come join us!" Chris shouts. Tris looks up at me as if she's asking for my permission. "You can go." I say and she kisses my cheek.

I watch her run through the sand to the water and jump in with the girls. I see her laughter and her smile. God her smile! I watch her golden hair flow down her back and when a breeze picks up I watch it blow her hair around. Even though she's far away, I can still see her glistening eyes.

"Dude why aren't you in the water?" Zeke asks coming up to me. He soaked and dripping water on me. I shrug. "Oh well uriah got his toe bitten by a crab. It was hilarious." He says and I laugh. We talk for a while till it becomes dark out. The girls, will, and uriah come out of the water and try to find their towels in the dark. "Hey. I'm cold, warm me up!" Tris says snuggling under a towel with me. "Your getting me wet!" I say and she laughs.

We all sit on it under towels talking and laughing. Tris and I become quiet but the others continue to talk. "The stars are so beautiful." Tris says looking up into the night sky. "Yea. They remind me of you." I tell her and she moves her head so that she's looking at me. "How so?" She asks. "Well for one, your as beautiful as they are. You twinkle like they do, your eyes shimmer like them all the time. And when I can't sleep or I've need beaten badly, I look out at the sky and see them. And they give me a bit of comfort, and calmness. They give me bits of hope. Like you." I say. She reaches for my face and brings it to hers.

"I love you." She says. "I love you too tris." She smiles and snuggles back into my chest.
