Tobias POV
I heard the girls all talking about the dance today during school and at lunch the guys were talking about how they asked their girlfriends. I hadn't asked tris yet because I wanted it to be a private romantic experience. My plan was to have someone take her out for a few hours, then go into her room and drop something off.
I called Christina to see if she would take her somewhere for an hour or so. She said she'd love to. Next I wanted to surprise tris by getting her a gift. I had gotten it a few days ago and all I had to do was wrap it. I chose a sleek black box with a shiny silver ribbon.
I also wrote her a card. I put in on top of the box so she'd read it first.
Tris~
I wanted you to open this before opening your gift.
Now slowly take the ribbon off and slide the top of the box off. (Wait for her reaction..)
Will you go to the dance with me?
