Chapter 7~ Friday as a couple

Tris POV

I wake up the sound of birds chirping and I look out my window to see a rainbow! Okay, okay.. That's not really how it was but it sure felt like it! I had a boyfriend and a good one at that. I pick out a pair of white shorts and put it on with a royal blue tank top. I pick out a pair of brown sandals and some jewelry. I fix my hair into loose curls, and put some clear lip gloss on. Then do the rest of my make up, I end up with a smokey eye look and nude blush.

"Morning bea. How was the party last night?" My mother asks as I get to the kitchen. "It was good." I answer although I was think that it was the best! "That's good. Now remember tonight we are having company over, so best behavior and something fancy!" She says and gives me a kiss goodbye. "Caleb! Let's go!" I yell and I see him come downstairs in sweats and an old shirt. "What the hell? Why aren't you ready??" I ask. "Sick." He says barely, his voice is all scratchy. I sigh and he heads back to his room. I grab my bag and get ready to walk to school.

It's not a bad day out, warm and the sun feels nice on my skin. "Hey tris!" I hear someone yell from behind me. I see a car come up close to me and see that it's four. "Get in pretty lady!" He says and I laugh. "Why you walking?" He asks and I strap my seatbelt. "Caleb drives me but apparently he's sick." I say and roll my eyes. "Well good thing I'm here." Four says and I smile.

We get to school a few minutes later, four drives much faster than caleb. I get out of the car and four joins me. He slides his hand into mine as we walk towards the school. I look down at our hands together and smile. "I can do this right?" He asks. "Of course!" I say. "I like it." He smirks and we reach our lockers. "Hey you two!!" Christina says walking over to us. "What's this I smell?? Is it romance?!" She asks. I laugh and nod. She squeals, "You two are so adorable together!" "Thanks." Then she runs off to first period. I close my locker and head there too. "Did I tell you that that Shade of blue looks nice on you." He says. "Thanks! You know we both are wearing a striking blue color today." I say and he looks down. He's wearing black jeans and a maroon shirt. "Your eyes." I say. "Ohh.. Thanks!" He says and I kiss his cheek and take my seat.

"You and four huh?" Lynn says taking a seat next to me. "Yep!" I say popping the 'p'. "I'm happy for Ya." She says. "Thanks. And thanks for not squealing my ear off like Christina." She chuckles and pulls out her notebook. "Alright class! We are having group projects this week! Go find your name on the board and see who your groups are!" I get up and find my name.

This shouldn't be too bad, we get in our groups and start thinking and writing. The bell rings and we collect our things. I walk out with Marlene and she says that she'll see me later. I walk to my locker and see four at his. "Hey." I at unlocking mine. "Hey. My group sucks!" He says an so can't help but laugh. "I got chris and will.. Chris and will!!" He says and I can't help but laugh more. "You'll be fine." I say and we part ways.

The end of the day comes and I'm so grateful. I walk out to the parking lot with uriah, and I spot four over by his car. "I'll see you later uriah." I say and we wave bye. "Hey." I say approaching four. "Hey." He says and kisses my cheek. "Ready to head home?" He asks and I nod. I strap in and he starts driving. "Wanna hang out tomorrow??" He asks me. "Yea! Id love to." I say and he smiles. The windows are open so the warm summer air flows into the car. "I'm so glad it's the weekend!" I say and he chuckles. "What?! I'm tired!" I say pulling my hair up into a ponytail. "Here we are!" He says stopping in my drive way. "Thanks." I say but I don't get out. We just sit there staring into each other's eyes. "I'll see you tomorrow." I say to fill the silence. We say goodbyes and enter our homes.
