Tori threatened me if I bitched about attending Nash's wedding.

"I haven't said anything yet," I said while getting dressed.

"It doesn't matter. You will. We get it. You hate weddings."

"Because weddings are boring. You sit on a hard-ass pew as the couple declares their undying love. Then you leave the wedding, attend the reception, and deal with the bullshit that accompanies it. Why can't people elope? We could send them a check and call it good."

Tori rolled her eyes.

I lifted Val out of his bouncer. "Val, if you ever get married, I'll pay you a couple of grand to elope."

Tori gave me an annoyed look.

"What?"

"Val, don't listen to daddy. He's a goober." Tori took Val from me.

I pray God makes this wedding quick.

We arrived at the chapel and got out of the car.

"Can someone help me?" Kayden asked.

"Go, and I'll get Val," Tori told me.

I strolled over to Kayden. "What's up?"

"I need help with Amie."

I nodded and helped Kayden with Amie.

"Thanks. The baby makes it more difficult to get up and down," Amie said.

"You look ready to pop."

"One more month, and the baby will be here."

"Thanks, Elias," Kayden said.

I nodded. Kayden helped Amie into the chapel. I chuckled at the sight of one of the psycho twins acting cautiously. He or Jayden usually injured themselves.

I hurried into the chapel, found Tori and Val, and sat next to them. Gabe and Nate arrived with the twins. Nate sat next to me with Roman. Gabe had Ryden.

I glanced at Nate. "I thought you were standing up."

"Shit," Nate said.

I took Roman as Nate climbed over us to head to the groom's room. I chuckled. Deacon showed up with Gia. I handed him, Roman.

"How did I get a baby?" Deacon asked.

"You don't have kids."

"It doesn't mean I need a kid right now."

"Suck it up, buttercup, and hold your nephew."

Deacon rolled his eyes.

Everyone found their seats, then the yelling started.

"I don't give a shit! You better not pull any stupid shit!" Nash said.

"You have no faith in me!" Grayson said.

"Because I don't!"

"Bite me!"

"Both of you knock it off before I get Matt!" Casey said.

"Well, tell Grayson to behave!"

"I am behaving!"

Sirens blared.

"What did you do?" Casey asked.

"Nothing!" Grayson answered.

Dad groaned and got up to see what the issue was. It's better Dad than me.
