A/N Hey all! I hope everyone is enjoying the way that this story is written! I love you all so freaking much and the amount of views I've received from this is insane. This chapter is going to be a bit long, probably one of the longest chapters I wrote.
The winter formal was approaching and everything was in full swing. Stiles was planning on asking Seraphina, Scott and Sage were helping him. The two had been spending so much time helping Stiles they had forgotten about themselves.
The three best friends sat in Stiles' room a week before the formal planning the 'big ask' for Seraphina. They had gone over so many possibilities that it was getting late. They were snapped back to reality when Noah opened the door after coming home from work.
"You kids are still in here?" He yawned a little bit, clearly tired from the amount of work he had been doing to clear up the case.
"Hey Noah! We're trying to find the perfect way for Stiles to ask Seraphina to the winter formal!" Sage said after crossing off yet another idea on the list.
"We've thought of nearly every option." Scott laid his head against the desk.
"A hot air balloon, filling her entire house with red roses, we've run out of ideas." Stiles crumbled a paper throwing it into a trashcan, and missing aimlessly.
"Have you kids ever thought of just asking? No gimmicks, no fancy things, just asking."
"That'll never work!" Stiles nearly screamed.
"I figured you'd say that." Noah shook his head a little and walked out of the room.
After about 20 minutes Sage threw her hands in the air and gave a frustrated yell. It was no use, no idea that they gave to Stiles were good enough. Scott pointed at Sage as if agreeing with her stress, and Stiles just rolled his eyes at the two of them.
"You guys are no help!" He threw a piece of paper at Scott and Sage responded by flipping him off.
"We'd be a lot more help if you wouldn't shut down every single idea we have. She's going to say yes regardless and you know it!" Scott threw the paper back at him.
"I want it to be perfect! I don't care if she's gonna say yes. It's her first formal! I want it to be special." Stiles didn't want anything to go wrong.
Sage couldn't help but smile. Stiles has only like one person his entire life and she was so proud of him for being able to move on. Seraphina was a beautiful person and Stiles deserved to be happy. She wanted her best friend to be happy and Seraphina made her happy.
"I think we should just go with what your dad said. Just go up to her and ask, her favorite flower is plumerias, you know the ones that are in Hawaii!" Sage wrote the name of the flower on a piece of paper.
"How do you even know that? That's not-" Sage put her hand in his face to silence him.
"Stiles Stilinski. Seraphina doesn't want anything big. She just wants to go to the formal with the guy she shockingly thinks is cute. For once in your life can you just listen to me?" Stiles nodded causing Sage to put her hand down. "Good. Now you'll ask her tomorrow at lunch."
"Okay, let's hope this goes well."

The group met up at lunch and Lydia and Allison made the decision to join them. Stiles' leg had been shaking since he sat down and Seraphina was starting to notice. She looked over at Sage who gestured her eyes over at Stiles and Seraphina couldn't take it anymore.
"Stiles is something wrong?" She blurted out which caused Stiles to panic.
"Willyougotothewinterformalwithme? It's okay if you don't want to." Sage slammed her hand to her forehead in disappointment.
