A/N I am so sorry that the updated haven't been daily. I had season one planned out to the T, and completely forgot to plan the others. It might be less active for these chapters but I am gonna try!

The venom-covered crystal from Sage's grasp hit the floor as she swung her body to face Lydia. They hadn't told Lydia the plan, Sage figured she had gone through enough so she wouldn't need to know. Lydia was about to be paralyzed in front of the entire class and there was nothing she could do.

"Lydia!" Sage screamed as a last ditch effort to convince her not to try the crystal.

The room grew silent and everyone looked at her. As much as she wanted to stop Lydia, she had completely forgotten about the fact that they were in a crowded classroom. She felt her face heat up and reluctantly sat down, feeling worse after realizing she dropped the crystal.

She watched as Lydia let a drop of the venom drip into her mouth. She look at Isaac who nodded to her, ready to catch her when she hit the ground, but it didn't happen. Sage gave a sigh of relief as the bell went off. Erica made a face and left the room, and Sage ran to Lydia.

"What just happened? Why did you all freak out like that?" Lydia looked at the rest of the pack who had now circled around her.

"We'll talk about it later, let's get to class." Sage gave her a reassuring smile and started walking off to her next class.

"Well that plan failed." Stiles closed the door of the Jeep as the approached the Hale House.

"Are you sure you didn't see Jackson touch it?" Scott look over at Sage who was nearly about to strangle Stiles, yet again.

"Yes I'm sure. I dropped the crystal before I even got the chance. The venom hit the floor." Sage shook her head as she swung open the door.

Isaac and Boyd were already inside with Evangeline and the Hale siblings. There was a small moment of silence as the group completed. Sage was so angry at herself for messing up the plan, but everyone else in the room knew it wasn't her fault. She thought her best friend was in danger, no one blamed her.

"Well since this plan didn't work, we're going to have to try something else." Derek handed Evangeline a glass of water, and Sage noticed their hands touch and they lingered for a moment.

"I screwed up, but we know one thing for sure now. Erica knows something." She sat down in between Scott and Isaac.

"It wasn't your fault Sage. Seraphina told us what happened, you were worried about Lydia. It's in the past now and we've gotta work on finding out which one of them is the kanima." Evangeline smiled over at her brother's best friend, hoping to ease her guilt.

"What I don't understand is how Lydia wasn't affected." Seraphina chimed in, leaning back into her seat, next to Stiles.

"Are you sure she wasn't bitten by Peter?" Derek looked over at Sage.

"No way. If she was she would've told me." Sage was sure of it.

"Okay, then she's somehow immune to kanima venom. That's a problem we'll deal with after we figure out which one of our two new psychos is the homicidal lizard." Isaac looked over at Sage, if she said Lydia didn't get bit, he believed her.

The rest of the night was spent with devising a new plan to figure out who the kanima was. Sage had decided to fill in the group on something not feeling right about Ms.Morrell, telling them she planned on going home to research the Latin.

Everyone started their goodbyes and as Seraphina and Sage were talking, they notice Stiles and Scott were talking with Isaac. Sage nudged Seraphina and eyed them, silently telling her to listen in. Much to her dismay Seraphina decided to tease her instead of listen.

"Hmmm. Wanna know what they're talking about? And if it's about you?" Seraphina poked her friend in the ribs, causing the girl's face to heat up.

"Shut up Sera. Just listen in, just this once. I never ask you for these things." Sage pleaded grabbing the wolf's hand.

"Fine fine." Seraphina paused for a moment, listening to the boy's conversation. Suddenly she swung her head to look at Sage. "You two kissed and you didn't tell me!?" She whisper-yelled in an attempt not to draw attention to them.

"We were dealing with the kanima I haven't had the time. But yes we kissed. He wants to talk about it." Sage covered her face in embarrassment.

"Well that must be why he's asking them if he can drive you home." Seraphina gave the brunette a smirk before disappearing back into the house.

Sure enough as Sage processed what Seraphina had said, Scott and Stiles were getting into the Jeep and driving away. Isaac was walking over to her with a hopeful look on his face, and she could feel her heart speed up as he grew closer, up until he was right in front of her.

"I hope you're okay me taking you home." He placed his hand on his motorcycle, the one Sage didn't realize she had been standing next to.

"Of course. Let's go." She smiled at him and climbed on right behind him.

"Hold on tight." Was the last thing Sage heard before the bike took off away from the lot.

Sage had never ridden on a motorcycle, but somehow with her head placed against Isaac's back, listening to his heartbeat, she felt like everything was going to work out just fine. The ride was peaceful, feeling the air as they turned corners. Not once did Isaac make her feel afraid, he took it slow as if to keep her from any harm.

As they pulled up to the Finstock House, Sage almost didn't want it to end. When she was with Isaac she felt invincible. Sure she was terrified of the way he made her so nervous, but the way he made her laugh made that feeling entirely disappear.

"Thanks for not screaming the whole way." Isaac teased as she climbed off of the bike.

"Well, thanks for not killing me." Sage teased back as the silence struck.

Neither of them wanted to leave the spot they were in. It was clear Isaac wanted to talk about the situation, and Sage did too. She just didn't know how to say it. He was about to start his bike back up, Sage took her chance.

"Do you maybe wanna sit in the backyard and talk about yesterday?" She tried her best to read this expression, hoping for a hint of how he was feeling.

"I would be honored." He got off of the bike and gestured for her to lead the way.

Sage guided him through the back gate which led to their yard. There was a pond lined with rocks, a swinging bench that was directly under a large tree with pretty pink cherry blossoms, and a stoned path that led to the back door.

"Your yard is breathtaking." Isaac felt his jaw drop as he looked around.

"My dad and I designed it when I was little, a way to not think about my mom being sick. I come out here to think sometimes." She looked over at him and sat down on the bench. "So about yesterday." Sage dropped her hands into her lap, fidgeting with no clue what to say next.

Isaac took this as an opportunity to reach for one of her hands, interlocking it with his own. "I'm not sorry that I kissed you Sage. Since the moment I saw you I've been enamored by you. Before all of the chaos I wouldn't think I could stand a chance. But after yesterday, I have a feeling there might be something mutual between us."
