A/N hey all! so I know I said I was gonna update on the 12th, but truth be told life got away from me. I am now officially done with my first semester of college which means I have the entire summer off to write and possibly finish this book! (probably not let's be real this book has taken me so long to just get here.) ANYWAYS thank you sm for being patient and I adore you all, let's jump right in!

"We need back-up" Chris Argent stood, a gun in his hand as he looked at Derek Hale and Scott McCall.

"You rang?" Sage spoke, trailing behind the three, Isaac in tow.

"Sage what're you-" Scott stopped as Sage punched his arm.

"You ever lie to me like that again and I'll break your neck. Got it?" He nodded so she assumed he understood her. "Now what's this I hear about a trap?" She turned to Derek, too pissed to talk to Scott.

"The alphas. They were ready for us, they had Boyd and..." His voice trailed off as he looked away from the group. "My sister trapped in the vault."

"Your sister? Seraphina has been with us all day." Isaac's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"My other sister. Cora. We thought she died in the fire but I saw her." Sage saw a hint of hope behind his eyes, "They trapped them in the vault, waiting for the full moon, knowing they would lose control. They're human side isn't as strong as it usually is."

"Well then, we need to find them. I assume because Mr. Argent is here he has a plan?" Sage gave a polite nod to Chris, turning back to Isaac. "How can we help?"

-

"Isaac I swear to everything right in the world if you step on one more footprint." Sage smacked her boyfriend's leg away crouching down to look at the footprints in front of her.

"Sorry."

"You didn't tell me she was a tracker?" Chris turned to Scott and Derek.

"I didn't know." Scott and Derek replied in unison.

Sage looked back and laughed a bit. "I'm not a tracker. My dad taught me a very different form of hide and seek than everyone else. We'd play in the woods and my goal was to use the clues around me, the sounds, the scents, the footprints," She gestured to the spots in front of her, " to find him."

"So you're a tracker." Chris replied laughing just a bit.

"Well I guess I am. And I'm also saying they went that way." She pointed towards the town. "Which isn't good. Anyone got a plan to get them, I don't know, anywhere else?"

"We have to get them somewhere no one else is." Scott looked around before finding his chosen spot. "The school."

"While I appreciate that whole genius moment you just had," Sage looked towards the group of men, "How the hell are we getting two basically rabid pack animals to the school?"

"We lure them." Chris tossed her a lantern, surprised she caught it.

"So you have a plan for this?" Isaac raised an eyebrow, reaching over and grabbing a lantern as well.

-

"Remind me why the hell we agreed to this?" Isaac grumbled to himself, sticking yet another lantern into the ground.

"Because you lied to your girlfriend, which is a big no no." Sage rolled her eyes playfully at her boyfriend's complaining.

"Lesson learned."

"Good, now let's go, I hear someone coming." The two took off towards the school, having just reached the parking lot.

Sure enough, Boyd and Cora followed after them, the lights attracting them towards the doors. The plan was for Derek, Isaac and Sage to meet in the boiler room, while Scott and Chris guarded the entrances, where they could lock them in overnight in hopes that the morning would bring them back to their senses. From what Derek and Chris had explained, the lack of seeing the full moon the past few months had caused their predatory nature to amplify, hence the chaos.

As the pair ran down the steps to the boiler room Derek slammed the door. Just before the three of them could take a breath, they heard a voice on the other side of the door. Panic set in through Derek, Isaac, and Sage's bodies as they looked at each other. No one was supposed to be at the school. No one was ever at the school this late in the night. But someone was in there and now they had a problem. One of them had to go in.

"I'll do it." Isaac and Derek spoke at the same time, cause Sage to look at them both like they were insane.

"Hell no! We wait for Chris and have him do it! He has the experience with this. We are gonna hope and pray whoever the hell is in there knows how to roll up a news paper." Sage's voice was panicked, mainly because the idea of going in there was weighing on her.

"There's no time Sage. One of us has to go in and as the alpha it's going to be me." Derek said turning to the younger two, hoping that they wouldn't argue him down. "This is my sister. I'm the one who talked Boyd into going on this mission. I'm going to fix this end of story."

"Okay. But if you don't come back out and I have to explain to Evangeline that you got mauled by two highschoolers-" Sage tried to crack a joke but her tone was filled with the anxiety that was creeping through her veins.

"Do you truly have that little faith in me?" Derek raised an eyebrow before taking a deep breath and opening the door to the boiler room.

The next few minutes were some of the worst things of Sage's entire life. From the other side of the door, she could hear nothing but Derek's screams as Boyd and Cora clawed at his skin. Each scream made her want to open the door, but Isaac held onto her, not wanting anyone else to get hurt, especially not Sage.

Scott and Chris ran to meet the couple at the door, the three of them being forced to stand by and listen as their alpha, their friend, was being torn apart on the other end of the door, Chris being unable to help.

-

"What the hell did you guys do!?" Evangeline dropped her bowl of ice cream to the ground as she saw Scott, Isaac, and Sage carrying in Boyd, Derek, and Cora to the loft.
