A/N Hey my darlings! I am trying my hardest to get through this slump with my medication, and it's hard but I've decided to push through it and try and get some writing done. I'm planning on writing some of the other unpublished stories, just to bring us closer to publishing. All I ask is that you're all patient with me <33

"If he hurts him-" Sage stopped herself, turning her attention to Isaac, but directing her statement at Derek, who was chewing on the inside of his cheek.

"I can hear you, you do know that right?" Peter turned to look at the girl, a crude smile across his face, but the smile soon dropped when she walked up to him, no fear in her eyes.

"Then listen carefully. If he is hurt in any way by the time this is over, I'll forget all about your little ties to Lydia and I will simply tear you to shreds. I'm sure she'll understand." She paused for a second making sure not to break eye contact. "Do I make myself clear?"

"Crystal." Peter tried to play it off like he wasn't intimidated, but even he had to admit that when Sage was determined, she was frightening.

As she took a step back the door to the loft opened and Evangeline walked in, looking at her brother's best friend in confusion. Sage nodded to her, and they took their places near Derek, Sage making sure to stand closer to Isaac, interlocking their fingers.

"How sweet-" Peter started but Derek cut him off.

"Peter. Just do it." Derek's voice was cold and void of emotion.

"If you insist." Peter gave a wicked grin, allowing his claws to pierce the skin in the back of Isaac's neck.

The boy winced in pain as he felt the sting, gripping Sage's hand for support. Sage tried her hardest to ignore the pain, focusing all of her energy into being a support system through this most likely excruciating situation.

Moments went by before Peter retracted his claws, a blank look overtaking his face. He took a few steps, looking at the four standing in front of him. Worry spread out across the two couple as Sage stood behind Isaac, setting a hand on Isaac's shoulder.

"What did you see?" Isaac spoke coarsely, still reeling from the pain.

"Wherever you were, it was dark, empty. You and the other one-"

"Boyd."

"Whatever. You and Boyd, you were looking around, but then suddenly it goes black, like you were knocked out. But then when you wake back up it's just you. Boyd's gone. Then footsteps, then it goes blank." Peter's voice quieted and Sage could hear the fear in his tone.

"What does that mean?" Evangeline asked, leaning into Derek for comfort.

"It means that whoever has Boyd, is a lot stronger than any of us." Peter walked towards the door before pausing. "This reminds me of something from when your mother was still alive. A newly formed pack." This sparked interest in Evangeline.

"Wait you guys said there's symbols for everything, that it's how werewolves communicate right?" Evangeline asked.

"Yeah.." Derek's voice trailed off, not completely sure where she was going with this.

"There was a symbol on the door when I went by your old house, I didn't recognize it." Evangeline walked over and grabbed paper, trying her best to sketch the symbol as she looked up showing it to the group. "It looked like this."

Fear spread through Derek and Peter as they looked over at each other trying their best to hide it but failing miserably. Sage moved around where Isaac was seated, melting gently into him as he wrapped his arms around her, an act they both found to be very comforting. Evangeline looked at Derek, lowering the drawing.

"What's that look?" Evangeline furrowed her eyebrows looking at her boyfriend.

"It's not just any pack..." Derek trailed off.

"It's an alpha pack." Peter paused. "And I won't be able to retrieve the rest of the memory."

"I know who can. But we need to go now." Sage looked at Isaac, placing a gentle kiss on Isaac's forehead.

-

"Is this safe?" Isaac asked, crouching down and dipping his fingers into the ice cold water.

"Do you want the truth or a lie?" Dr. Deaton looked down at him, his face telling everything he needed to say.

"A lie would be nice." His voice cracked, full of nervousness.

Over the summer, the pack had grown closer to Deaton, learning that he was very equipped in handling the supernatural. They began going to him for assistance with things they couldn't understand, and he had become a guide for them. And today they needed that guidance.

Sage knew that Deaton would know how to help them, so the first thing they did was make their way to him, calling the others when they arrived. Scott and Stiles ended up arriving before them, and now they sat in front of a tub full of ice, with no idea how this situation is going to pan out.

"So how does this work?" Scott asks, looking up at his boss.

"We need to stop his heart." Deaton said, in a casual tone.

"You want to kill my boyfriend to help him remember?" Sage felt her heart drop at the idea of Isaac in danger.

"We're not actually going to stop his heart, we just need to slow it down just enough that it seems like it's not beating. That way his conscious mind can't hide the memories." Deaton looks over at Isaac, "Are you ready?"

"No." He paused, taking a deep breath, "Let's do it."

He stood up removing his shirt, handing it over to Sage who set it on the counter. He reluctantly climbed into the tub, slowly lowering himself into it. The water was near freezing as he slowly lowered himself completely, just barely submerged.

"Boys, I need you to hold him under." He motioned towards Derek, Scott and Stiles. "Okay," Deaton paused turning his attention to the girl, "Sage I need you to guide him through this. Your voice should keep him steady."

"Okay, I think I can do this." Sage nods taking a deep breath.

"I trust you completely Sage." Isaac smiles at her. "Alright, do it."

The boys slowly push him under, and almost immediately he began thrashing, feeling the anxiety set in, and the boys were struggling to hold him still. Sage saw this and dropped to the ground reaching to grab a hold of Isaac's hand, trying her best to keep him grounded.

"Hey, it's okay." Sage's voice was soft, reassuring. "I'm right here Isaac." She continued, trying her best to soothe him. "Listen to the sound of my voice, stay calm and follow my voice." She watched as he calmed himself and she smiled, "There you go."

Sage was terrified. Isaac's life was in her hands and nothing in the world scared her more. She was the one that held the balance of Isaac making it out of this alive. She took another deep breath looking down at the boy she was falling for, and started her attempts to guide him through his memory.
