A/N Nothing big to add just that I adore you all so much!

Sage and Isaac stayed downstairs for the next 30 minutes, talking about the situation and laughing here and there. Upstairs, the group tried to figure out what seemed to be the mystery of the month. Everyone was getting heated and when Sage and Isaac made their way up the steps, Sage was almost hit with a flying pen.

"I'm guessing by the guilty look on his face, Scott just threw that?" Isaac said as the two took their seats.

"Sage I am so-" Scott immediately started muttering apologies but instead of getting upset, she laughed.

"Scott it's fine. You didn't hit me so I don't have to disembowel you." She gave Scott a mischievous grin. "Alright, where were we on the kanima?"

"Right where we started." Boyd dropped the pen that he was holding and leaned back against the chair.

"Great." Sage let her head drop as she spoke. "So we've got nothing."

"Well if we can figure out more about the kanima, we can figure out how to find it." Evangeline was always trying to look on the bright side.

"Well then tomorrow, we'll go to school and do our research and figure it out. I have an all-access library key." Sage smiled and looked over at the boys and Seraphina. "You boys are ours tomorrow."

"It's a date."

-

"If you're about to ask me to spend yet another lunch period in the library, I'm going to have to stop you right here and tell you, no." Lydia slammed her locker shut looking at her best friend who was walking up to her.

"I haven't even said anything! Are you some kind of supernatural bat? A werebat? A batwolf?" Sage teased trying to get on Lydia's good side.

"Spill it."

"Okay, I don't need your research skills, I need your ability to find out any gossip that anyone at Beacon Hills High might be keeping from you." Sage opened her locker to grab her books, peaking over at her best friend.

"What do you need?" Lydia sighed, caving in yet again to her best friend's antics.

Sage cheered a little before explaining the situation, filling her in on everything they had learned. Lydia made a sly comment about how Sage should've clawed Erica's eyes out, but let her continue. The brunette explained that she needed Lydia to figure out what Erica and Jackson know about the kanima.

"So I've been promoted? Lovely." Lydia rolled her eyes in a playful manner.

"You're basically head manager!" Sage poked Lydia before continuing, "I will be in the all terrible library that you dread so much with the rest of the pack."

"The pack? What are you, their pet human?" Lydia looked at Sage with her usual sass.

"No! Stiles is their pet human. I am their pet genius, and you're my trusty co-genius who is not a part of the pack but I can't live without!" Sage kissed her best friend's cheek. "I love you, you're amazing, text me when you find something!" She turned around and disappeared into a sea of teens.

-

The teens pulled out nearly every book of mythology the library had to offer. School had just ended and they had an all-access pass to be there as long as they need. They all sat down, books in their hands, and got to work looking for answers. Every now and then one of them would shoot their head up with what they thought was an answer.

"It says here that... never mind that's in Latin," Boyd closed the book and went to open another one.

"Wait Latin?" Sage leaned over and grabbed the book from his pile. "I'll take that!"
