A/N: The last chapter had a glitch, where some of you couldn't star or comment because of an issue (only on the browser version of Wattpad, not the app). This is why I waited to post this, so that the issue would clear, and hopefully it's gone now.

If this is still a problem for you, then please clear your cache, and it'll work.

As Anirudh ran towards Bondita, time seemed to slow down. He was hit with a hard realization. A realization that was shattering him from his core.

The time that he spent with Bondita was flashing before his eyes. All of their memories, the journey they had together, was playing in his mind in those few seconds it took him to reach the edge of the cliff.

From the time he married her, he remembered how she had been just his responsibility. Then he had taken the form of her mentor, her Guru. She had become his best friend, the only person he could confide in and trust. She had become the reason he did anything nowadays. Every thought in his mind would be dedicated to her, every breath he took was indebted to her. Everything he did was for her

If this wasn't love, then what was?

This girl that was slipping away from him wasn't only someone special for him. She was his sole purpose. She was the one who understood him like none other, she was the one who was compatible with him to the deepest of levels.

She fulfilled him

Bondita wasn't just a responsibility. She wasn't just someone who he wanted to empower. Yes, she was that, but she was also more.

He had taken so long to understand their beautiful relationship.

The unique bond they shared was not like any husband and wife. It was something that was divine. It was something that nobody got even after lifetimes of prayers. He was lucky to have Bondita by his side. He was lucky for this beautiful relationship that he had with her.

She was his heartbeat, his shadow, his biggest goal and his soul. She was his beginning, his middle, and his end. Every step he took was for her, and every move he made was for her too.

Without her, he would be living, but like a corpse. Without her, he would walk but with no destination

What he felt for her was beyond anything that existed. It was beyond logic and reasoning. It had no barriers and didn't follow any social constructs. This love he had was beyond the typical definition that everyone had for love and romance.

What Anirudh felt for Bondita was something totally pure, totally beautiful, and all-encompassing, because he he loved her beyond this body and mind. He loved her from his soul

She was his entire journey, and she would be his destination too. In between these beautiful moments in their journey, rested many destinations. Many moments where eternity existed and united them in every time-space construct. Even when they were apart, they were together, and this was the most blissful truth about their relationship. That they could never be apart.

In every moment of time, he was one with Bondita, and in each singular moment, he was fulfilled. Because there was no Anirudh without Bondita.

They only existed together, or not at all

Just like time seemed to slow as Anirudh rushed to her, time was also not above their relationship. He loved Bondita in a way that was beyond even time and space. In a realm beyond all human levels. He loved Bondita with everything

Every cell in his body vibrated for her. Every atom was entangled in a beautiful melody that was sung in her name.

So as she was falling off the cliff, her life leaving her, it was only natural for his life to leave too. After all, from the most basic atomic and quantum levels, to the heights of space, they were entangled so deeply.

"Bondita!" Anirudh gasped for air, still far away from her, running with all his strength and speed. "Please... Bondita..."

The Universe seemed to listen to him today though, because a hand caught Bondita's just as she was slipping down and pulled her up.

Manika had arrived.

Anirudh reached Bondita and fell to his knees, sobbing. He took Bondita in his arms, her head resting against his chest, and he rubbed her hands and arms, trying to wake her up.

"Bondita, wake up please," he begged, "Please wake up."

Tears were streaming down his cheeks as he looked at the frail body in his arms. Her lips were dry and her face was pale.

"Here Anirudh," Manika said, and lifted her kalash of water that she was using for her own fast.

Anirudh took the kalash of water without a thought and placed it to Bondita's lips, making sure it went inside her mouth to quench her thirst. Then he took some of the water and sprinkled it over Bondita's face.

She didn't wake up, but she was thankfully breathing.

"I didn't think she would come here," Manika said, looking pitifully at the unconscious girl, "She would do anything for you Anirudh, and truth be told, you would also do anything for her."

Anirudh managed to take deep breaths and compose himself.

"It's true," Anirudh said softly, his heart feeling like it exploded from many emotions today. "It's true that I would do anything for her. She's the reason that I live. With time, she has become my jeene ki vajah. My Bondita has endured so much. She has gone through so much because of the ill-effects of child marriage. But not anymore. I will make sure that my Bondita gets out of this. I will make sure she grows wings and learns how to fly. I will make sure she gets her self-respect, no matter what it takes. I will take her out of this hell and make her so strong that nothing can touch her, not even her own emotions."

"Anirudh, I pray that you succeed in your endeavours," Manika said with a smile to him, stroking Bondita's hair lovingly.

Then she took the kalash of water that only had a few drops left in it now, and smiled sadly at it.

Anirudh took no notice of Manika as he continued to rub Bondita's arms. He held Bondita even closer to him and began to rub her feet as well.

Manika slowly stepped away from the couple with a small smile on her lips. Maybe it was a difficult phase for the two of them, but the way that Anirudh spoke about Bondita today seemed like he realized something huge.

Anirudh held Bondita lovingly and felt his eyes tear up again.

"It's true Bondita. It's true," he said, his voice cracking. "It's true that I love you very, very, very much."

He sniffled and just held her close to him in his arms, rocking her silently as he cried and allowed this realization to settle in.

His whole system felt like it had exploded with this truth, and now that he had realized it, there was no turning back.

"I was wrong Bondita," he cried. "I was wrong. We aren't just parallel train tracks that walk together towards a common destination. Our goals aren't just one. But actually, we are one because our goals are one. Rather, you are my destination."

Tears trickled down his cheeks as he whispered into her ear, "You are my Destination, my Bondita."
