Bondita had gone downstairs with her letter in hand in order to mail it to the Roy Choudhary haveli.

"Thakumaa, I want to send a letter," Bondita informed her Thakumaa.

"A letter? To who?" Thakumaa asked.

"Pati Babu," Bondita responded.

Thakumaa forced a smile and said, "Give the letter to me. I'll mail it for you Bondita."

Bondita handed the letter to Thakumaa as she glanced down at it. She didn't know how to read, but she knew that if Bondita was writing a letter to that Anirudh Roy Choudhary, then she was already making a big mistake.

How could she make Anirudh Roy Choudhary want her if she ran after him all the time?

"Bondita, go and have some breakfast," Thakumaa said, "Rimjhim Bahu has made your favourite food on my request."

Bondita nodded and left the room. As soon as Bondita left, Thakumaa took the letter and ripped it into shreds. "Thodi baat, thodi laat, tabhi samjhe aurat jaat."

In the kitchen, Bondita was eating the food served by her Rimjhim Kaki.

"If I lie then take my life!" Rimjhim Kaki randomly said, making Bondita look up with surprise mid-bite. "There's so much work to do here in this haveli."

Bondita went back to focus on eating her food.

"You're a Roy Choudhary now Bondita, so Thakumaa won't ask you to do any work. It's all in our hands," Rimjhim Kaki said dramatically.

Bondita just sighed and finished eating her food.

"Thank you for the food Rimjhim Kaki," Bondita said gratefully, and went to wash her own plate.

Rimjhim watched, surprised that the Roy Choudhary Bahu washed her own plate.

Bondita went outside into the courtyard, where Tupur was busy sweeping leaves off the grass.

"Do you do all of this work at your haveli?" Tupur asked curiously.

"No," Bondita admitted, "Not all this work. Only some of it. The main thing I do is cook... and study."

Tupur looked at her jealously and asked, "So you don't have to sweep?"

"No," Bondita informed.

Tupur had a dreamy expression in her eyes suddenly.

"Bondita, can you sweep for two minutes? I have something to do!" Tupur said, and practically shoved her broom in Bondita's hand.

Bondita just shook her head with a smile and began to sweep the grass in her Banarasi saree. She was sweeping near the tree where her and her Pati Babu had shared their first kisses, when she heard the leaves rustling.

Looking up, she saw her Pati Babu behind the tree, but it didn't register in her mind, and she just looked past him, still sweeping.

Anirudh, who had rushed to the property, had noticed one of Bondita's sisters push the broom into Bondita's hands and then run off. Nothing was registering in his mind though, because his eyes were only fixated on his Bondita.

He didn't think he would get to see her again this soon. He was just watching her with a dreamy smile.

He would drive all this way every morning just to see her if he could. Only one glimpse of her and his day was made. That was all it took.
