A/N: The kind of love I got from the last chapter was so overwhelming. Within like 30 mins, it already had over 100 comments, and now it's at close to 300. 🥺 I'm so so so moved and it touched my heart. Also, I think it was the record number of stars for any one of my stories! 266 likes! Thank you so much! I have read each and every one of your comments in the last few chapters and I will try to reply to the best of my ability, and to as many as I can, but it'll take me some time. Please continue to comment and shower your love. Thank you all again. ❤️

When Anirudh brought Bondita back home, he sat her down on the mattress, and he sat beside her.

"Bondita," he said, and she took his hands, her heart fluttering.

He had held her hand all the way here, and she hadn't gotten tired of it. She wanted to hold his hands more!

He allowed her to hold his hand and he just continued, "There's something you need to know about a suhagraat."

"Yes?" Bondita asked, eyes wide.

"What we had, it was not a suhagraat," he informed.

"Why not?" Bondita asked, frowning.

"I mean, it was planned to be that but..." he murmured, and then went quiet for a moment, thinking about how to explain this to her.

"If it was planned, then it happened right? All the things that happen on a suhagraat happened!" Bondita told him, confused.

"You know what, I won't be able to explain this to you," he said, and he got up, taking her hands. "Come with me!"

Bondita, who was confused, followed Anirudh out of the hut, all the way to Manika's haveli.

"Where are we?" Bondita asked.

Anirudh gulped nervously.

"Well, someone here can explain things to you," he told her. "This haveli belongs to zamindars. They own the land of the village we are staying in."

"Okay," Bondita just said, still confused by what all of this was about.

Anirudh lead her inside the haveli, and was greeted by Manika's father.

"Nice to see you here Anirudh beta," the zamindar greeted, "And who is this? Is she your wife?"

Bondita grinned.

"I'm his wife, Bondita Roy Choudhary," she greeted.

"Actually, I wanted to introduce Bondita to Manika," Anirudh informed.

"Of course, let me call her," the zamindar said, and he went to call his daughter.

Bondita looked around the haveli with wide eyes. It was similar to the Roy Choudhary haveli in terms of stature.

"Bondita," Anirudh whispered, "Manika is someone who can explain things to you."

"Manika?" Bondita asked, making a face, "Why can't you explain things to me Pati Babu?"

"I can't. A girl should explain it to you," Anirudh told her.

Bondita did not understand his reasoning, because for her Anirudh wasn't just a male figure. He had explained so many things to her beautifully before, including what females went through. He was everything for her. So she didn't understand why he couldn't explain this.

Anirudh wished he could tell her, but he was afraid of corrupting her mind. He was scared that in his explanation, he would have to come to terms with the fact that she was his wife, and one day she might demand these things from him. He would have to explain to her the reason behind their marriage, and how she was just a responsibility for him. This was something that he was afraid to admit.
