First, I've already posted one chapter today. Do read that first, and get that chapter along with this one to 450+ stars and post your comments, so I know that you're reading the chapters and are getting caught up.

Second, this should have been clear in the chapters, but as some of my readers seem confused: Thakumaa's motives have been explained many times in this whole track... how they transformed from just wanting Ani to accept Bon as a wife to wanting what she thinks is better for Bon. I'm not saying to agree, but just to understand.

You have to understand that whatever she is doing is based on her own interpretations which might be misguided. It's nothing about husband and wife... but she fears for Bondita's future... if she will even be treated well or even be alive after Anirudh succeeds in his plans. And Thakumaa is actually a strong lady whose strength has been subdued by a tragic fate, so to see her doing these things isn't hard to believe.

For different shades of their relationship, then there has to be grey shades in the world as well. Things can't always go the way that we expect perfection to be.

"Bondita, when I married your Baba and came into this house, your Shoumik Kaka was very fond of me. He used to take care of me well, even though your Rimjhim Kaki didn't like it. When your Baba would be out of town, he would make sure that you and I were taken care of. He never let me feel alone," Sumati was saying to Bondita, as Bondita rested on her shoulder, eating the Roshogullas that her mother had brought for her.

Even though she had been in this haveli for quite some time now, with everything that was going on, she didn't get much of a chance to just lean against her mother and cherish her company.

"Then your Baba died... and everything changed," Sumati continued, a sad expression on her face. "Thakumaa never expected for the Shoumik Babu who always looked after me like his younger sister, to cast me out. She left for the yatra, and Rimjhim didn't want me here... she didn't want a widow here... it is inauspicious... and she was only giving birth to daughters. She thought it was because of me."

Bondita removed her face from her mother's shoulder, looking at her with shock. Rimjhim Kaki had done that?

"That's why we left this haveli Bondita. Shoumik Babu listened to his wife. He forgot about our beautiful relation, and just let it go..." Sumati confessed. "A Devar-Boudi relationship is supposed to be a beautiful one, and our relationship was... but a Devar can never stand up for his Boudi in front of the woman in his life that he falls in love with."

Bondita was very upset to hear of the heartbreak and betrayal her mother had gone through.

"There are so many people who betray you in life Bondita. Nobody knows this better than Thakumaa. You have unconditional faith in them, and then they stab you in the back..." Sumati murmured, "I have felt it, and so has she. We don't want you to feel it too."

That was when she felt something weird happening to her. She suddenly felt like she was in a daze, and she couldn't process what was happening anymore.

"This is why we are doing this Bondita. It's because we love you so much," Sumati murmured, and then she hugged her daughter tightly, tears pouring down her cheeks. "A mother is happiest, when her daughter's future is secured... not when it's uncertain."

Chandrachur reached the forest.

He had heard from his mother that Thakumaa was sending Bondita here tonight for the shuddhikaran, and he had gone bonkers. He needed to find Bondita at any cost.

How could he marry her if she was dead?

For him to attain her, she needed to be alive!
