Anirudh was furious

"P - Pati Babu, I - I still studied," she said, trying to get out of this, "Batuk too... h - he is trying to b - better his grades. He knows he h - has to do b - better."

Anirudh's grip was tightly wound around Bondita's wrist, and she was very close to him, dangerously close. If she wasn't so worried for Batuk more than anything right now, she would find this quite hot

"WHY ARE YOU STILL DEFENDING BATUK?" Anirudh yelled, and she could feel his angry breath on her lips, making her knees go weak. "HAVING A COLLECTION OF THESE BOOKS, BARELY PASSING HIS CLASSES, GIVING THESE BOOKS TO YOU!"

She couldn't help it, she looked at his intense, furious eyes, her heart hammering hard out of fear and love both, and she closed the gap between their mouths, kissing the mouth that he was just using to yell at her with. She loved every shade of him.

Anirudh was surprised, but he wasn't finished. He let go of her wrist and placed a hand on the back of her head, trying to pull her off him, but she had brought her hands up to his hair, unwilling to let him move.

He could feel her tongue slide across his lips, as if it was requesting for an opening.

He managed to move his face off hers breathlessly, as he glared at her.

"This won't work," he hissed.

She took a deep breath and said, "Pati Babu, I asked him for the books! He didn't want to give them to me!"

She knew she could get out of this somehow, but getting Batuk out of it would be difficult, extremely difficult. She had to defend him at all costs.

"BONDITA, YOU LIED TO ME!" Anirudh yelled, "YOU SAID THAT YOU GET YOUR BOOKS FROM THE ENGLISH STORE! IS BATUK YOUR ENGLISH STORE? AND BATUK, I CAN'T BELIEVE HE ACTUALLY HAD THE AUDACITY TO GIVE MY WIFE SUCH NOVELS!"

Bondita gulped again.

"Such novels?" she inquired. "What's wrong with such novels? Pati Babu, you told me that sex isn't something to feel shameful about, so what's wrong if we share novels which have such scenes?"

She had a point. However, Anirudh was still furious. He was still angry at his wife and brother for lying to him. Why did he have such a big collection of romance novels, and yet didn't even study? Why was Bondita encouraging this? Why was she reading so many of these books?

"BONDITA, NONE OF YOUR ARGUMENTS WILL WORK THIS TIME!" he yelled.

She took a deep breath again and said, "Alright then Pati Babu. You want to yell, then yell at me! But don't get upset with Batuk, please! He only brought the books here so I don't get bored. He was only thinking about and caring for me!"

Again, Anirudh grew angry.

"TEXTBOOKS BONDITA?" he yelled. "HE SAID THESE WERE TEXTBOOKS. WHY DIDN'T HE BRING YOU TEXTBOOKS INSTEAD OF THESE NOVELS?"

She furrowed her eyebrows and asked, "When I'm on my period and in pain, do you think I'd rather read romantic novels or textbooks?"

She kept on having valid points, but Anirudh wasn't hearing any of it today.

"Batuk did this..." he muttered under his breath now, "I'm going to find him..."

Bondita's eyes widened and she shook her head, "No Pati Babu! Don't!"

He didn't listen to her, and he began to storm out of the shack. She ran after him and wrapped her arms around him from behind, hugging him tightly.
