This is the second chapter I've posted today. Please read the last one first! Enjoy!

That day, Roopa was grinding a whole load of spices with an enormous standing spice grinder, and Bondita noticed Anirudh was consistently touching his back. She could sense that it was aching, and it was taking a lot for her to not run to his aid.

Rimjhim Kaki was there with Tupur and Thakumaa.

"Tupur, what is this?" Thakumaa asked, noticing that her saree was slightly wrinkled. "A boy will come to see you soon. You can't be dressed like this. Rimjhim, didn't I tell you to groom her?"

Rimjhim Kaki sighed and said, "Thakumaa, take my life if I'm lying, but I am teaching her etiquette. She will learn it."

Tupur was looking sad at the mention of her marriage.

"Anyways, Roopa, it seems like Kamala will not return. I don't know what happened to her all of a sudden," Thakumaa said, "Can you continue your job for longer?"

"Of course Thakumaa!" Roopa said, sounding excited. "I love working here."

Bondita frowned. She loved getting to be around her Pati Babu, but this Roopa act was becoming too much. She had to figure out a way to get out of this so that her Pati Babu wasn't stuck with sore muscles and dry hands for his whole life.

"Great," Thakumaa said with a smile. "With you, I feel like I can be tension free Roopa."

Roopa just smiled at Thakumaa.

"Roopa, my laundry on the rooftop is probably finished hanging. Can you collect it for me?" Bondita asked, thinking it would be a break for him if he left this tedious task of grinding spices.

Thakumaa had given Roopa the task to grind so many spices that it could take all day!

"Let Roopa finish first, Bondita," Thakumaa suggested.

"Thakumaa, they're expensive sarees, they need special care," Bondita replied.

Rimjhim glanced at Bondita enviously, while Tupur who would have normally also looked envious, looked down sadly.

"Very well then, go ahead Roopa," Thakumaa said.

Roopa went upstairs to the rooftop, and when Bondita got a chance to, she went upstairs following Roopa as well.

In the Roy Choudhary end of the haveli, a fuming Batuk was thinking about what to do about Roopa. This maid had gained his Boudi's trust, and behind her back, she was having an affair with his Dada?!

"Your Kaka will come soon. What will you tell him?" Vikram asked.

"I don't know!" Batuk said, sounding panicked. "What can we do?"

"Why don't we take Bondita's Manika Didi's help?" Vikram asked. "She knows your Dada well, right?"

"Yes, they're very good friends," Batuk agreed. "Let's do it!"

They headed towards Manika's room.

"By the way, why do you keep calling her Bondita's Manika Didi? Why not just call her Didi?" Batuk asked, raising his eyebrows.

Vikram's face flushed.

"Bondita's Manika Didi sounds nicer!" Vikram argued.

"Don't get any ideas! She's married, remember!" Batuk said, frowning.

"I know Batuk!" Vikram replied. "I'm not doing anything, am I?"

"Whatever... even having a crush on a married woman is wrong!" Batuk said, frowning. "And this stupid Roopa is the wrongest person ever!"
