151 - Instead of Wanting An ARC, You Should Want to Become One!

When Bondita went to the guest room and knocked, Manika Didi opened the door right away. Manika smiled widely to see Bondita there. Bondita threw her arms around Manika with excitement and hugged her. 

"Manika Didi!" she squealed happily. 

When they broke the hug, Manika cupped Bondita's cheeks with a smile. 

"It's so nice to see you Bondita," she said, "How are you?" 

"I'm good, and even better now that you're here!" she said. 

"Come in Bondita, we have a lot to catch up on," Manika said, and Bondita followed her inside the room.

Outside, when Batuk landed on top of Roopa, Bondita's maid, a horrified look was on his face. Even Vikram was gasping with shock. What was going on here? 

"How dare you?" Batuk screamed, holding Roopa's shoulders down on top of the ground, both of his legs on either side of her waist. 

"Batuk!" Vikram said, and held Batuk's shoulder gently, "Let her go. She's a woman!" 

"What kind of a woman is she?!" Batuk screamed. "How can she come out of Dada's room?!" 

Anirudh watched Batuk with a frown. If he really was a woman, this was no way to treat one. He would have told Batuk off, if his biggest priority wasn't getting to Thakumaa's house right now. 

"It doesn't matter Batuk! You can't hold her down like this! It's wrong!" Vikram yelled at him. "Get up now!" 

Anirudh had to say, he was rather impressed with Vikram. He had the voice to speak in front of his best friend and stand up for the right thing. He was reminding him of Bondita a lot. 

Batuk said, "But if we let her go, and she runs away, then? Just because she's pretty, she thinks she can do anything!" 

"P - please... let me go," Anirudh said in Roopa's voice, trying hard to maintain his act. 

He couldn't let these young boys find out who he was. Batuk should focus on his studies, not worry about what he was doing with his time. 

Batuk turned to glare at Roopa. 

Was this why she looked familiar to him? Because he had seen her as Bondita's maid? For some reason, there was a different kind of familiarity. 

"You used your beauty to seduce my Dada!" Batuk accused, sounding sad. "You are a bad woman! Very bad! I will not let you go!" 

Anirudh frowned. Batuk thought that he was seducing himself?

"What will you do Batuk?" Vikram asked with a sigh. "We know who she is now right? We will figure it out. Let the woman go!" 

"No!" Batuk said defiantly. "And look Vikram, she's married too!" 

Anirudh wanted to groan loudly. This was a very annoying situation for him. 

Vikram grabbed Batuk's shoulders and pulled him hard. Anirudh used some of his strength to push Batuk off too. 

Vikram held Batuk back as Anirudh straightened his saree and ran towards Thakumaa's haveli. 

"Vikram!" Batuk yelled, turning around and glaring at his best friend. 

"We will do something, Batuk," Vikram said. "We will have to! But holding down a lady like that is wrong. It doesn't matter how she is. It's just not right! You shouldn't use your physical strength on a woman!" 

Batuk angrily just stormed back inside the haveli. He loved his Dada a lot, but this time, he was severely disappointed in him.
