As Bondita was trying to drag Batuk out of the store, Batuk kept on resisting her grip. He hadn't finished looking around this store. If there were romance novels here, then this would be the perfect place to explore all his curiosities.

Even Vikram wasn't finished gazing at the books in the romance section with his mouth open.

"Boudi, wait!" Batuk was saying, as Bondita kept on trying to drag him. "Don't you want to find a gift for Dada?"

Bondita loosened her grip on Batuk's arm and sighed loudly.

"Yes!" she said, finally, "We will go after I find him a gift."

"Great, take your time," was all Batuk said absent-mindedly, before heading to where Vikram was to find more romantic content to explore.

Bondita went to look for some non-fiction books. She picked out a few and stacked them together -- they ranged from biographies to historical events, to even law related books.

When she went to find Batuk and Vikram, she noticed that Batuk had flipped to the middle of the same romance novel and was reading it with his eyes wide. Vikram was peering over Batuk's shoulder, reading it too, his eyes just as wide.

Holding her books to her chest, Bondita peered over Batuk's other shoulder.

She saw: 'His fervent breathing was caressing her neck as he laid passionate kisses all over it, his hands moving up towards her bosom...'

Her eyes widened, and her heart started to beat harder. She gulped nervously.

How come kissing someone's neck sounded so good?

"What are you reading?" she demanded to both Batuk and Vikram.

Vikram just looked away, looking embarrassed, but Batuk didn't lift his eyes from the page. He didn't even acknowledge Bondita.

Batuk just flipped the page, and Bondita couldn't help but peer over Batuk's shoulder again.

She read: 'His lips were caressing her lips, her mouth parting open with a moan.'

Bondita's eyes widened again and a deep blush appeared on her cheeks. She tried her hardest to ignore those feelings that were making her feel guilty all day. She could feel the same moisture build between her legs again from what she read.

This was wrong. This was very wrong

"Batuk!" she yelled, causing him to finally look up.

His face was very red.

"I'm going to go and pay for this!" was all Batuk said, and he ran from there.

Vikram ran with him.

Bondita just watched them go with her mouth wide open.

"I can't believe Batuk is seriously buying such a book!" Bondita said to herself, but truth be told, she was secretly glad, because she was planning to take it from him and read it too.

As she walked towards the counter to pay for her own books, she thought about how the man in the novel was caressing the woman's lips with his own. Surely, this was a normal act if it could be written about in the novel! Then why did her Pati Babu move his face that day when she almost kissed his lips?

As she approached the counter, she saw that Vikram just finished paying for all of his candy and chocolates.

Now it was Batuk's turn.

When Batuk was paying for his romance novel, the British male employee behind the counter looked at Batuk and said, "Sorry we can't sell this to you."
