Yoonchul was torn, he really believed he didn't deserve this second chance in life but what Yoonhee said made sense. If he wanted to restore his family somehow - even if it was just Eunbyeol and him, he needed leverage.

After they had finished their brief talk and meal, they headed back to the Penthouse at Hera Place.

Yes unnie, Yoonchul has agreed to take the position.

From the study, Dongpil emerged. After agreeing to work for them, it was decided that Dongpil will return to Dante. Afterall, they needed someone who was working for them within Dante's inner circle. Mari also emerged with him.

Everyone please sit. We have gathered here because it is time to finalise our roles for the next few months. First let my secretary brief everyone on the current situation regarding Dante and Seojin.

Yoonhee's secretary (formerly Logan's) began the briefing. Everyone but Yoonchul was aware of roughly what Dante and Seojin's plans were.

As of now, Seojin lacks about 20% more capital in order for the completion of Chungah Art Centre, unfortunately it has been a month and she is still unable to get the capital. Joo Dante's project is much slower, because of the negative press regarding the Cheoseo District. The government is purposely dealing with awarding the proposal. He has already managed to convince key people in the committee to award him. However, we did find out that even if he is awarded the contract, he lacks the capital to even begin to develop the area. So he is also concurrently trying to find investors.

I have some contacts that may be willing to help invest into Joo Dante's project, but we need to make sure it is not obvious.

Agreed, Mari has already informed me and unnie of who her contacts are. Even though our aim is to make sure that Dante does not actually get to develop the Cheoseo District, the government has that intention. So our plan is to drain his finances in due time.

So are you saying you want Dante to get the contract?

Yes Dongpil-shi, I know ideally we should even try to stop him from getting the contract. But with Dante's streak, if he finds out we took the contract he would come at us head-on. For now, we need to be quiet in our movements.

For now, with Dante we need to bid our time. We can't move too fast for fear that he will discover our actions. As for Chungah Art Centre, there is already a plan in motion. As you all know Yoonhee has shares in the Art Centre but since Seojin is lacking capital, we will indirectly help her through a 3rd party. That would give us even more leverage when it comes to decision making time regarding the Director of Chungah Art Centre.

Unnie is right, she needs that Director role to even be reinstated as CEO of Chungah Group. We have to stop that.

What about Eunbyeol? What are your plans for her?

Relax Eunbyeol-Appa, we have no intentions of harming any of the children. We are bad enough, there is no need to harm or get the children involved.

As I mentioned just now back at Yunis, we suspect she is being abused. However, it seems that Mrs Jin does have some friends in high places. She has not been suspected of any abuse. We are trying our best to gather more evidence to remove her from her care. Right now, the best thing you can do is establish your career for the next couple of days. After which, we will submit a request via a lawyer to see if we can get you visitation rights. That can be a good start, for now we can confirm that Seojin has not had any contact with her since she got out of prison.

How can she not go and see her?

There must be a reason why she has not contacted Eunbyeol. I am sure with her influence and power she does know where she is, but clearly there is something holding her back. What or who we need to find out.

Okay, let's wrap up this gathering, we can't keep Dongpil here too long. We need Dante to trust him and use him, that one way for us to gain the upper hand. Dongpil-shi, for the next week or so we will not contact you. Just do what you have to do, we will contact you via Mari since Dante does not suspect Mari's involvement with us.

Dongpil and Mari soon took their leave via the secret entrance so that no one would suspect them coming from the Penthouse.

Speaking of children, I don't see Rona or Seokkyung or Seokhoon around, where are they?

Seokkyung is currently at her practice session, most of the students from Chungah High are busy preparing for the SNU audition. It is in another 3 days.

As for Seokhoon and Rona, they are no longer in Seoul.

No longer? They left the country?

Yes, when Rona found out that Joo Dante had been released much earlier than expected. I think mentally she couldn't cope, especially since she may see him every now and then. So they decided to leave the country, thankfully they were accepted into Julliard and so both of them are already in New York. Rona texted me this morning that she had finished her 2nd day of orientation, she and Seokhoon are settling in well and have already made some friends.

Oh, wow. Juilliard is a good and famous school. I am happy for them. Yoonchul felt a bit of regret as well, he had hopes that perhaps when he came out, he would be able to not only patch things up with Eunbyeol but maybe with Rona. Now that he knew she was his daughter, he really wanted to have some kind of a relationship even if it was a mediocre one.
