Jenny was doing some work on her laptop, when she noticed that Rona was online. Due to the time difference, it was really rare that Jenny was able to video call Rona. Often times, they would be exchanging messages back and forth. Since she was online Jenny decided to call her.
The call went on for sometime before Rona picked up. She looked slightly flustered.
Jenny!
Rona!
Hey what's up I was not expecting your call.
Oh right, sorry about that. I just happened to see you online so I took a chance and tried to call. I didn't think you would pick up, thought you would be busy with assignments and school.
Yeah we both are but we took a break so we are good for now.
By the way, are you okay?
What do you mean?
Well your lips look a little swollen.
Oh, no no I am okay. Rona blushed a bit, she was not going to tell Jenny what Seokhoon and her were just doing. Had Jenny not interrupted, well they may have moved things to the sofa in their study room. Peeking out of Rona's back was Seokhoon, Jenny thought his expression was a bit scary for some reason he looked slightly angry.
Hi Seokhoon!
Seokhoon stared at Jenny for a quiet minute before saying hi back. Seokhoon was slightly disappointed that their heated session got interrupted but when he reflected back, it was good that Jenny called when she did. If she had not, there was no telling what would have happened. As much as he wants Rona, he had planned for a special moment for their first time, so for now he will learn to be patient and learn self control. He came over so he was sharing the same space as Rona.
So how has school been?
It has been really good, we have made some really good friends and after sometime I feel we are both adjusting well to the schedule and the pace of classes. What about you? Did you make it into SNU?
Ah yes, the results came in just three days ago.
Wait three days? I thought the audition was over a month ago?
Yeah well, something happened that caused the entire admission process to be changed. Jenny proceeded to catch both of them up, revealing what had happened during the SNU audition, Seokkyung's bullying and her expulsion. As Seokhoon heard the antis of his sister, he was both disappointed and worried. It seems Seokkyung was truly unhinged.
Also Seokhoon, I heard from my mom that Seokkyung had moved out of the Penthouse.
She moved out??
Yeah, it seems she has gone to live with Joo Dante.
But why would she do that?
I don't know all the details but my mom told me it is because Seokkyung felt that your mom betrayed her by dropping her. Also it seems that Seokkyung had been promised by your dad some benefits if she came over to him.
Urgh, I knew this was a possibility. My sister is too much alike to my dad, just offering a little bit was going to easily lure her.
Maybe you can try reaching out to her?
I have tried but she doesn't answer my calls or my text.
She did seem a bit angry when she found out you two were in Juilliard.
Seokhoon-ah... Rona was really worried, now because of her this has happened. No Rona, you are not to feel guilty, regardless Seokkyung made her own choices. She chose to bully all those people, she chose to ask my dad for help with the audition. Even if I was there, she would still have done it. Nothing would have changed that.
Rona, Seokhoon is right. Perhaps Seokhoon being here could have helped but even if he was here, there is no guarantee Seokkyung would not have done what she did. She wanted to get the SNU position no matter what, and she would have gone behind Seokhoon and her mom's back to get it.
Especially if my father offered it to her.
Okay, this is depressing, did you hear about Minhyeok?
What about him?
Jenny told the couple all about Minhyeok, him moving out and applying to public universities. He said he doesn't plan on pursuing music. The last time I saw him he was really diligently studying, I am telling you he is so different.
If he has moved about then his parents?
Well, his mom begged my mom and me to find out where he lived. So she knows, according to Minhyeok she tries to go to see him almost every single day. But it seems he is still rather mad at his parents, so he constantly blocks her or avoids her when she comes over.
It is nice to see Minhyeok really standing up for himself. At least he is being the exact opposite of his father now.
Yeah, Seokhoon is right. I am glad Minhyeok grew himself some backbone.
Right? It is really pretty amazing, he has become really independent.
What about you Jenny? You told me the last time despite going for the SNU audition you aren't gonna go in even if they offered.
Yeah, well I didn't get into SNU Music anyways. I did well overall but not the top 10. Anyways, I have been studying for entrance exams as of late. I am hoping to either get into Korea University or Yonsei.

Rona signed off, despite Seokhoon and Jenny's words, she was still worried about the whole situation with Seokkyung. Seokhoon-ah. Seokhoon knew by her tone she was still worried, so he kissed her lightly on the lips. It will be okay Rona. I will talk to Omma during the weekend and find out more. We will see what we can do to help her, alright? Let's go back to our assignments first.
