A house somewhere in Seoul
A young adult girl woke up in a strange bed and her consciousness came around and she jumped up in fright. She looked around and realised she was in a room in which she did not recognise. She got up and slowly walked around, making sure not to make any noise. She looked around and could not find any clues as to where this place was.
She quickened her pace to the door and discovered that it was unlocked. Thinking that now was the chance to quickly run out the door and down the stairs. She was about to run out of the house when she heard a voice.
Where do you think you are going? The young woman turned around and saw that there was someone who was sitting in the living room. She could not make out who it was as the person was partially covered by darkness. She tried to reach for the door knob, thinking she was just that much closer to freedom.
I told you not to trust your father and yet you chose to believe him instead. Now you almost died because of it. She paused and finally she recognised the voice, it was her mother. Then the living room lights were switched on and sitting on the sofa was none other than Shim Suryeon.
The young lady noticed that she was not alone, the very man who killed her and Oh Yoonhee were sitting just opposite of her. When she saw her mother, she couldn't help but run to her crying. She had realised just how mistaken she was, how foolish she was indeed.
Omma, I am so sorry. She wrapped her arms around Suryeon tight, thinking that perhaps this was indeed a dream and she was already dead. Suryeon looked at the young lady in har hands, hugging her tight and crying. Ever so often an apology will pass out of her lips. Suryeon sighed and patted her on the back,
Seokkyung, you are truly lucky to be alive. The young lady was Seokkyung, she was killed by Dongpil just 2 days ago. She could not remember much, but all she remembered was being struck on the head rather hard. At that moment, she felt numb and realised that she was going to die. She was going to leave this world without reconciling with not only her mother but Seokhoon as well.
In just those tiny few seconds, regret washed over her. Only at the very end, did her eyes open to realise just how evil her father was. He never truly cared for her and only sought to use her. She regretted saying all those things she said to her mother, how she hated her brother for leaving her. In the end, it was actually her who drove them away. Seokhoon had tried to reach out to her countless times but each time, in anger she turned him away.
Now that she was actually alive and not dead, she treated this moment - back in her mother's arms. Suryeon did not say anything but just embraced Seokkyung back in her arms. She was grateful that Seokkyung had finally seen the light, even though it did take her a while. None of that matters now that she was back in her arms.
After Seokkyung had calmed down, she remembered that there were two other people in the room. She rubbed her nose and embarrassingly went to sit beside her mother. Sitting across from her was Yoonhee and Dongpil. She was a bit afraid of Dongpil and embarrassed that Rona's mother was sitting right in front of her. After all, she was the very person who made Rona's life miserable when she was in Seoul. Seokkyung knew that had Rona been in Seoul, she would have probably asked her father to kill her.
Seokkyung realised just how far she had fallen. Seeing the worry and confusion on her face, Suryeon finally told Seokkyung that Dongpil actually works with them. When he informed them that he was asked by Dante to kill you. They had formulated a plan that would 'kill' her but by doing so, allow her to escape Dante's grasp. After Dongpil knocked her out, his men quickly wrapped her body out - as though she was dead. The blood that Dante had seen was planted by Dongpil. Dante, seeing this, did not bother to check if indeed Seokkyung was dead. His trust in Dongpil was strong, so after instructing Dongpil to dispose of the body. Seokkyung was brought here to this house.
This house was not owned by any of them, it was technically in Mari's name but bought via funds from Yoonhee and Suryeon. It was a smoke screen just in case Dante dug around too much. Only when Dante's attention was focused as well, did Suryeon and Yoonhee come out to this house. After Seokkyung heard all this, she realised just how much planning went into bringing down Seojin and Dante. She suddenly remembered what she had stuffed in her jacket pocket just before she was dragged down to the cell.
She ran back up the room, and grabbed the photographs. Dante had not bothered to check if Seokkyung had the photographs on her, he assumed after she tried to threaten him. His men had taken the photographs back, instead they were still on Seokkyung when she 'died'. She also grabbed her phone and ran back down and handed her mother the envelope. I hope this helps you and Yoonhee ahjumma in your fight against Appa. Also, there is something I need to tell you about Cheo Seojin.
Note: I hope this version of Seokkyung repenting is okay with everyone.
