By 7PM, everyone had arrived. Apart from Ryo and Yoo Jung who had been here before. Everyone reacted in amazement to the condo that Seokhoon and Rona were living in. The view from their 73th floor was unbelievably amazing - it was dark but they could see all the lights coming from the various buildings of the New York cityscape.
Everyone each brought a dish so that they could share together. Stephaine brought potato soup, while George brought chicken pie that his mother made. Ryo brought sushi, while Yoo Jung and Seungho brought Korean dishes (kimchi and various side dishes - Seungho and bulgogi). So Hyun brought cupcakes and cakes from the cafe she worked at.
They were soon gathered around the dining table, trying out everyone's dishes.
Wow George, this chicken pie is really amazing!
Thanks Yoo Jung, after my mom retired she decided to pick up baking as a hobby. Now she can really bake some complicated dishes, one day you all should come over to my place. I guarantee you the kitchen would be filled with various baking treats.
That sounds like an amazing idea.

Everyone looked at So Hyun in question. Excuse me, aren't I eating all these with you. I am not always on a strict diet.
Hahah, though I always feel that ballet dancers have to be on a strict diet.
That is often the case, but my major is not going to be in ballet.
Rona was surprised, she always assumed that So Hyun was going to be a ballerina. Wait, you aren't? But you are so good at it.
Haha, it's not that I am not learning ballet, but under the classic dance section there are ballet or contemporary. I have always enjoyed contemporary more, so my professors are supporting my decision. But at the end of the day, contemporary dance's techniques are rooted in ballet so regardless I still have to learn ballet.
So that means So Hyun can join us if we go on that baking treats binge!
Haha, well Steph, whenever you guys are willing I will let my mom know. I bet you she will be super excited to be able to bake so many treats for you all.
After dinner, the group split off into tiny groups around the condo, somewhere still eating (George and Yoo Jung), while others were gathering around watching TV and playing games. So Hyun signalled to Stephanie to follow her to the kitchen.
So you noticed Gabbie has been strange?
I would not say she is strange, based on what I can see. She has been hyper focused on Seokhoon and Rona, as for why I really don't know.
Could it be that she is jealous? I mean she is single and Seokhoon and Rona are a good looking pair.
Even if that is so, don't you think her fixation is a bit extreme, Steph?
Right then, Yoo Jung entered the kitchen. She saw the two of them staring at her. Oh no, I have interrupted something have I? Sorry I just wanted to clean up my plate.
It is okay Yoo Jung, we were just talking about something.
Oh, yeah some strange things have been going around on campus lately huh.
Strange things? What do you mean?
Oh you two don't know. Yoo Jung walked nearer to them and dropped her voice into a whisper. It seems there is a rumor going on that Gabbie's father is on the board of directors for Juilliard, plus it seems that she is quite mean to some people in the piano major.
How did you know this?
Oh, I have a friend in the piano cohort, even though I am not super close to her. One day I ran into her in the hallway and asked about how things are going for her. She told me that everything is going okay besides just this one person. That was when she told me about Gabbie.
Huh, well I know that Gabbie is rather well to do, but a bully? Why have you never said anything Yoo Jung.
Well I don't know Gabbie that well, so I was unsure how much truth there is to the story. So I kept quiet. Plus I only just found out about this just a couple of days ago.
Well Gabbie being a bully does seem a bit farfetched right So Hyun?
No Steph, remember carefully when we were back in high school. There were a bunch of kids that were always scared of Gabbie, we tried asking them why but they never did ever tell us the reason. I assumed it may have to do with how powerful her father is but what if it is also because she had been bullying them.
But she does not act that way with us?
Perhaps she doesn't dare. Plus I have noticed that when we were in high school, she never really treated Rona well. She was cordial with her but she never once initiated any kind of friendship unless either one of us did it.
Gabbie does seem to have a fascination with Seokhoon and Rona.
Huh, what do you mean Yoo Jung?
Yoo Jung told them of her conversation with Gabbie during their group discussion. She did find it strange that Gabbie kept asking questions regarding Seokhoon and Rona even though she did not know that much beyond what Rona was willing to share.
So Hyun knew all about Rona's past, she was the only friend that Rona ever confided in. So Hyun did not say anything but the obsession that Gabbie was directing towards either of them was very off.
We need to find out what the heck is going on.
How do we do that?
The only method I can think of is we need to follow her as much as we can.
But Yoo Jung, me and you are not in the same major as Gabbie - it would be hard for us to follow her with our schedules.
Agreed, that is why we need to rope in the other two in the piano major.
Yup, we need to ask Seungho and George to help.
We should also ask Ryo! He is really intuitive, I think he will be a great help
Alright, we will do as Yoo Jung suggested. We need to gather one day and brief everyone. Steph how about coordinating everything.
Got it, so I am assuming we are not telling Rona and Seokhoon yet?
No, not yet. Rona often sees the good in people. I rather she be unaware for now. When we know more, then we will decide what to do.
Alright got it. Yoo Jung you are in?
Yeah! Rona is my friend and I don't want her and Seokhoon to get hurt. Count me in!
