Seokhoon was concentrating on his assignments, when he heard a knock on the door.

Come in.

Ryo walked in.

Hey Seokhoon.

Oh hey Ryo, do you need anything?

Nah I am good, we are more or less done with our group work, Rona invited Yoo Jung and I to stay for dinner.

Oh yeah sure please stay. It is often Rona and I only so having some company is always nice.

Yeah, the reason why I came to find you is that the two girls seem to be talking about you know women's things and I got bored so I came to find you instead. Hope I am not interrupting you or anything.

Oh no, please come in. Ryo, who was lingering at the door, walked into the room. He looked around, the music/study room was really organised and neat. There were two tables that were side by side, based on the contents - one table is Seokhoonn's while the other is Rona's.

So Rona tells me that you two came from Seoul midway into your final school year of sorts.

Yeah, the entire process happened fairly quickly the moment we got accepted into Juilliard.

Ryo saw on Seokhoon's desk a picture of him, Suryeon and Seokkyung. He picked it up and looked at it. This is your family?

Yeah, my mom and my sister.

No father?

Urm, well...

Hmm let's make it easier, is he dead or alive?

Alive.

Then I guess seeing as how he is not in the picture, he is out of your lives?

Well at least for my mom and mine - yes. My sister, that's hard to tell.

Hmm, I smell some family drama huh.

Yeah well it's complicated, and just intense.

Yeah Rona mentioned something briefly to us that she had to come to New York. So I get it, leaving and starting a new chapter.

What about you Ryo, what is your story?

Haha, do you want the full version or the abridged version?

Whichever one you are willing to tell.

Well it is not like I am hiding my past, if anyone asks. As long as I trust you, there is nothing I won't say. My story is a little bit similar to your picture. I have a mother, two older sisters. My dad well he was in our lives for a period of time until he was no longer in it.
