Seojin was in complete shock when she realised that Eunbyeol was not in hospital. If she didn't move her, it means Dante did. She asked her secretary to quickly call Dante and they set up a location where they could meet.

11PM, a warehouse, somewhere in Seoul

Both of them arrived on the dot, the moment they stepped out of their vehicle they each grabbed the other's collar. Through scheming, they believed that both had set the other up. They argued and fought around for a bit. Seojin then screamed and asked Dante what he had done with Eunbyeol.

Dante smirked and decided to tell her. Eunbyeol, is somewhere where you can never find her. Hahahaa. Seojin tried to claw Dante but he grabbed her wrist. They carried on fighting and arguing, they didn't realise they were being watched. From afar, Yoonhee and Suryeon were looking at the two of them fighting in the warehouse.

Unnie, should we start our plan?

Then who do we deal with first?

Take care of Dante first, after all his downfall has been set up already. Begin to process.

Understood Unnie. Yoonhee took out her phone call and told the person on the other line to begin to plan.

In the past month, Eunbyeol had to undergo one surgery and several sessions of neuro-therapy. It was a new method but it was necessary. She had taken too much of a certain medication that had very severe consequences. Thanks to the PIs that Yoonhee hired, Mrs Jin was tracked down and captured.

Yoonchul and Yoonhee spent hours interrogating her to get her to reveal exactly what she gave Eunbyeol but she wouldn't budge. Yoonhee in the end had no choice but to contact Alex. Afterall Mrs Jin was brought by Logan to Seoul for the purpose of helping him. Eventually they set up a video meeting, when Mrs Jin saw Alex she remembered what had happened to Logan and began to cry.

Alex knew about her past, he did warn Logan about using Mrs Jin to help him. After the loss of her child, she had become mentally unstable but Logan helped her and she was slowly improving. Feeling grateful to Logan for helping her, she offered her service to come to Seoul and help him against Dante and Seojin. While she was caring for Eunbyeol, her mental state also snapped, she started to look at Eunbyeol as though she was her own daughter.

Wanting to prevent what had happened to her own daughter, she became obsessed with wanting to take away Eunbyeol's pain. However, this resulted in her becoming more obsessive and controlling of Eunbyeol. After 1 hour of Alex talking to her, Mrs Jin finally realised she needed to stop. Mrs Jin, the best way you can help Eunbyeol now is to tell them what exactly you did to her. That way they can save her. After that, Mrs Jin opened her mouth and told them all they needed to know.

With this information at hand, they handed Mrs Jin to the authorities and now the doctors had a strategy on how to help Eunbyeol. Based on the MRI, it was clear that Eunbyeol's brain was more or less okay. But nonetheless, it was clear that the area which stored her memories were slightly affected. The only reason why they did surgery was because of the multiple beatings and abuse Eunbyeol had caused, there were some fractures in her chest area. They had to cut her open in order for her bones to heal.

After she had recovered from the surgery, they started her on several sessions of therapy. Specifically targeting her abuse and her inferiority complex, Yoonchul was by Eunbyeol's side all the way. At first, she didn't want to see him - thinking that he had abandoned her. Regardless Yoonchul kept showing up and finally Eunbyeol relented. With the help of a family psychiatrist, Yoonchul and Eunbyeol were beginning to mend things. Eunbyeol had gotten used to the presence of Suryeon, Yoonhee and even Mari.

The psychiatrist recommended that a few of Eunbyeol's peers also visit her, so Jenny and Minhyeok had also come to visit her. They spent several hours sharing with her their work and their day. Eunbyeol's behaviour and overall demeanour began to change. She was happier and brighter, Yoonchul was so happy to see Eunbyeol improving, however when he heard that Seojin had come to find Eunbyeol at Chungah Hospital, he was worried. Eunbyeol had made such great progress, if Seojin and her met, wouldn't this set her back.

So for the week leading up to the inauguration, Yoonchul spent a lot of time with Eunbyeol, slowly approaching the topic of her mother. Eunbyeol still cared deeply about Seojin, but a lot of the memories she had of her mother were not filled with happiness. Perhaps at the beginning, but as the dream of becoming the next prima donna was pushed onto her by her mother, that dynamic changed.

Yoonchul explained that most likely her mother will be arrested. Eunbyeol didn't need to know why, she knew what crimes her mother had committed. How would you feel if you didn't see your mother anymore?

I don't know. On the one hand, I will feel sad, she is my mother after all. But on the other hand, I would be free of her shadow. Omma never really changed even after prison. I don't really know, but I do know this - I would like to see her one last time.

Yoonchul acknowledged Eunbyeol's thoughts and eventually discussed it with Yoonhee and Suryeon. As mothers, they understood how one can be torn by ambition and motherly love. Don't worry Yoonchul, right now we are going to be pursuing Dante first. If you plan on allowing Eunbyeol and Seojin to meet, make sure it is in a setting which you can control. My guess is Seojin will be fleeing the country soon, and it is not a good idea to bring Eunbyeol along.

I agree, I will make the necessary arrangements. I will get Mari to help me. Yoonhee stretched out her hands and covered hers with Yoonchul. She smiled in encouragement, Yoonchul smiled and silently thanked Yoonhee before he left the room.

Hera Place, Seoul

Seojin had been busy packing up, she couldn't find Eunbyeol and knowing Dante he would never tell her where she is. She had gotten her men searching for her, but so far no luck. Seojin knew she couldn't stay in Seoul long, with her position right now, she could possibly transfer the position to Eunbyeol but time was of the essence.

Right then, her secretary ran into the room. Mdm, we just got a text message that they found Eunbyeol.
