161 | Reunion

Rona walked over and rang the doorbell to Seokhoon's house. Seokhoon opened the door and Rona noticed that they were once again matching. They were wearing similar beige colour outfits, Rona laughed at the sight. Despite now living apart, they were still matching. Seokhoon invited Rona into the house, Rona looked around and saw the sophisticated design of the house.

Unlike her house, Seokhoon's house had more of a grey and black undertone to the house, Suryeon's taste of luxury and maturity was definitely reflected through the design. Suryeon's room as very simple, almost Japanese minimalist which differed quite a bit to the rest of the interior of the house. Seokkyung's room was clean and yet the design was very modern and hip - clearly it reflected Seokkyung's personality, while Seokhoon's room was more black overall, definitely more masculine in design.

*Suryeon's Place

After Rona had explored the house they were sitting on the living room sofa waiting for their mothers to return home. Seokhoon couldn't resist Rona's beauty and kissed her, she jumped back and pouted at Seokhoon. Behave our parents would be coming back soon.

It is okay, they aren't back yet. Come sit here. Seokhoon patted his lap and Rona was torned whether to listen to him. After a couple of seconds she gave in, and sat across on his lap. Her arms hooked around his neck and she placed a soft peck on his nose, Seokhoon wrapped his arms around her waist and cradling her head he kissed her hard on her mouth. Rona opened her mouth and Seokhoon's tongue soon followed inside. They began making out on the sofa, they were so consumed by each other that they did not hear the door opening.

Yoonhee, Suryeon and Seokkyung had arrived home, they walked into the house and saw Rona and Seokhoon kissing on the sofa. The two mothers were shocked by the display of affection. The two knew that they were young, hot blooded adults but to actually see it in person is another thing. These two regardless were their children. Omo, these two...

What are they doing in our place?

Seokkyung-ah, technically this is your brother's place too.

The three were unsure what to do, should they interrupt the young lovers or wait until they finished? Luckily they didn't need to answer that question as Seokhoon and Rona soon broke apart. The two didn't notice that there were other people in the room, until out of the corner of her eye, Rona caught some movement. She turned her head and saw her mother, Suryeon and Seokkyung all looking at them. She jumped off Seokhoon's lap and blushed.

Annyeong Omma, Hi Seokkyung and Hello Suryeon ahjumma. Rona shyly looked away from them all as she said her greeting. Seokhoon looked over and inwardly sighed that they were interrupted. He greeted the three standing there, reaching over to hook his arm around Rona's waist. Rona pouted at the sudden display of affection she tried to get Seokhoon to release her but his arms were tight around her.

Seokhoon smiled proudly at this blanted display of affection (and perhaps ownership), Seokkyung made a gagging reaction to it. What was this display of affection; some more in front of a single girl. Seokkyung refused to admit that she was jealous of her brother. Rona pinched Seokhoon and he finally let her go. She ran to her mother and gave her a big hug. Yoonhee was so happy to see her daughter after an entire year.

Even though they often video called each other, it was different seeing her daughter live. Though her looks didn't change, the air around Rona was definitely different, she was more mature, more adult-like and there was a subtle feeling of charisma coming from her daughter. She was really thankful that New York has been good for Rona, by being away and out of harm's way, she had become her own person.

Seokhoon, seeing Rona greet her mother, also walked over to Suryeon and hugged her. We are back Omma. Suryeon hugged her son back, it was good to see Seokhoon look exactly the same. But she knew that her son had matured and become even more reliable. After Seokhoon hugged his mother, he turned to Seokkyung. Seokkyung looked younger compared to the last time he saw her. Somehow there was a child-like innocence around her now, compared to when their father was still around.

He knew that Seokkyung now felt more free and less burdensome. It seems the therapy has really been helping, Seokhoon was really happy for her. Even though he knew Seokkyung usually detested public displays of affection, he still reached over and gave her a warm hug. Seokkyung really missed her brother, there was so much she wanted to say to him - most of it was 'I am sorry'. After going to therapy she realised just how much Seokhoon had accommodated to her their entire lives, he was her protector but also her defender until she pushed him over the edge.

Seokkyung also finally realised just how good Rona was for her brother. Her brother had changed much because of Rona's influence, he was more loving and more understanding of others. After the hug, Seokkyung turned and looked at Rona. The last time they met, well Seokkyung really hated Rona; now she realised that Rona deserved no hatred actually. She walked towards Rona and gave a soft smile. Rona smiled at Seokkyung, she knew from Seokhoon that Seokkyung had repetented and is now trying to live a completely different life.

Rona I just want to say I am sorry for everything.

I forgive you Seokkyung, I know you must have had a rough year in the time we were gone. I am happy to hear that you have seen the error of your ways.

I hope our relationship can be restored.

I don't see why not. You are Seokhoon's sister, I hope in time we will be close as well. With that Rona extended an olive branch and reached over to give Seokkyung a soft hug. Seokkyung was surprised that Rona hugged her and there were tears in her eyes. Suryeon and Yoonhee witnessed the sight and were really grateful for Rona's kind spirit. Once the greetings were all exchanged, they sat down in the dining room for dinner. 

Note: Someone suggested that their parents catch them right, so I didn't quite really want them to catch them having sex so I made do with this haha!
