2nd year had begun, Rona hoped that she would be able to get back into the rhythm of school, learning, practising and focus on growing as an artist. Something did feel different, after all she was returning back to New York as an engaged woman. She was going to be married to Seokhoon in about 4 months. It felt really strange that the wedding and the concert was soon, and yet it also felt faraway at the same time. It was decided that Seokhoon and Rona's joint concert will happen in December, and when the new year comes, they will be married in January.

Their concert was set for December 10th, and their wedding to be on 11th January. This would give another month to prepare for the wedding, celebrate Christmas with their family before they got married. This year was more or less the same as the previous year. Rona had to take German and French dictation as opposed to Italian and English the year before. What was special about the 2nd year was that Juilliard was going to have another collaborative module. The only difference between this and previous years one is that the collaboration was going to happen between year 2 and year 3 students. This would give year 2 students an opportunity to learn from their senior upperclassmen while year 3 will get the opportunity to teach and mentor the younger batch of students.

The briefing for this specific module was today, all the year 2 and year 3 music students were gathering at the lecture hall. Seokhoon went to the toilet, which left Rona alone standing at the front door of the lecture hall. The rest of their friends were already seated inside the lecture hall. There standing there was this beautiful Asian girl, her fair skin, red lips, and big eyes made her really attractive.

Suddenly, there were various men who went up to Rona trying to strike up a conversation with her, but Rona tried to turn them gently down. She eventually moved away from the group that had started to form, and at that time Seokhoon returned. He did not notice anything amiss and they headed into the lecture hall. They found their friends sitting around the middle section, as they approached the group they found someone sitting with them that they did not recognise.

Stephanie saw them approaching. Hey, welcome to the newly engaged couple. Everyone started to clap, as Seokhoon and Rona sat down. Ryo noticed that Seokhoon was staring at the new stranger that was sitting with them. He leaned over and whispered to Rona and Seokhoon. This person is Chae Jong Hyeop, he is a 3rd year Cellist student.

How do you know him?

How do you know him?

I don't, but when we were seated down, he came up to say hi to Yoo Jung and he ended up sitting beside her, so we didn't want to chase him away. It seems he sort of knows Yoo Jung.

I didn't know Yoo Jung knew any 3rd year students.

Same, but Stepahnie told us this was the person that Yoo Jung bumped into during the competition we took part in last year.

Was it the moment where she came back in a daze? That was the day where the piano students were competing.

Yes, that is the moment. Seokhoon snuck a peck at Jong Hyeop. He looked handsome, had a very nice smile and seemed friendly. He was engaged in conversation with Yoo Jung and Seungho. He could see a red tint blush over Yoo Jung's cheeks. He raised his eyebrow, clearly there was something there. Rona did not notice Seokhoon's expression but she saw that he was rather friendly to Yoo Jung. She thought back to Yoo Jung's expression and knew that there was definitely something there on Yoo Jung's part towards Jong Hyeop.

Since it seems he was getting along with the rest, the couple didn't say anything. They just nodded and smiled at their friends and him and returned to pay attention to the upcoming briefing. Soon the briefing began, this semester's collaboration was going to be a fun one. Everyone was to pair up with a 3rd year student and they would be performing an original collaboration. They could use any song and rearrange the song according to their style. With such a large group, it was going to be difficult to assign people to their pair, so for about an hour the Profs would allow them to go and choose who they would like to collaborate with. Before everyone entered the lecture hall, they had their name and their major written on a name tag. So after the briefing was over, the students started going around to figure out who they would want to collaborate with.
