192 | Matchmake

As the weeks went by, Seokhoon ended up having a good relationship with Jong Hyeop. It was something definitely unexpected and he decided to invite Jong Hyeop to one of their gatherings. He had been going on and on about Yoo Jung and so he decided to be a matchmaker. So he invited Jong Hyeop to their place along with all their friends. He decided not to tell Yoo Jung, and only told Rona of his intentions. Wanting to matchmake her friend Yoo Jung, she agreed to the plan.

432 Park Avenue, New York

Rona and Seokhoon were busy preparing for the gathering that would occur in the afternoon. George and Stephanie were going to be bringing a dessert and one dish for lunch, with the help of their chef, Rona prepared several more dishes for their meal. They were going to be having a western style lunch, with a variety of dishes to share.

Rona and Seokhoon were wearing matching outfits and were waiting around the living room for their friends to arrive. So are we really going to matchmake them together?

I thought you were for the plan?

I am but you know Yoo Jung has been rather evasive about her feelings towards Jong Hyeop. I just don't want her to be uncomfortable.

Well sometimes you need to push them in the right direction. Jong Hyeop may not have gotten the chance to really express his feelings towards Yoo Jung. If she chooses to reject him after his confession then that is another story right?

Yeah that is true but looking at her expression every time Jong Hyeop's name is mentioned, she definitely likes him.

She is probably a bit shy and unsure what to do. Did you tell anyone else about our plan?

Only Ryo and So Hyun just because Ryo and Yoo Jung are close, it would be good for him to support the decision and you know help out.

Sounds good. Right then, the intercom phone rang, Seokhoon went to go and answer it and let their guests in. Stephanie, George and Yoo Jung had arrived. George and Stephanie helped Rona set up the dining table as they waited for the rest to arrive. Seokhoon and Yoo Jung were sitting around the sofa. How has your collaboration been, Yoo Jung?

It has been good, the senior I paid up with is a really experienced pianist, she really gives me many pointers and advice. I feel like I am really growing as a singer. How is yours? With urm.. Jong Hyeop oppa?

It is going okay, he is actually a really talented Cellist. How he is like when he isn't playing vs when he is playing is really different.

Oh how so? Seokhoon could see that Yoo Jung was curious and subtly trying to ask more information about Jong Hyeop. Well, when he is playing his eyes definitely become more focused and he can be rather vocal about how things ought to be played - what's the word for it, almost like musician pride? He definitely knows how to play and what he is good at, so there are some arguments but all in the spirit of creating a better piece. But when he isn't in that zone so to speak, he is just an innocent, sweet senior. He is always smiling and he doesn't quite know how to shut up. Hahah.

So Yoo Jung, what do you like about him?

Huh? Yoo Jung saw Seokhoon just stare at her and she knew that he knew that she liked Jong Hyeop. Seokhoon was always the more intuitive one. But before Yoo Jung could answer, the doorbell rang. In walked, Seeungho, So Hyun, Ryo and finally Jong Hyeop. Yoo Jung's jaw dropped and she shouted. What are you doing here?

Note: I hope readers are good with the new couple we have! Sorry I don't give everyone as much attention, since this is Seokrona main so of course I write more about Seokrona. But I will do my best to give like updates.
