WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN'T FIND ANYONE?

Cheo Seojin's voice filled the entire apartment. Due to the lack of funds, the construction of Chungah Art Centre has been stalled for almost 2 months. That is time that Seojin could not afford to waste. She needed to get reinstated as Chungah Group CEO but unless she successfully completed the Art Centre, that goal will not be fulfilled.

Ever since she was released from prison she had been desperately trying to complete this project of hers. The project had stalled around the 50% part with a few of Joo Dante, Kyun Jin and other's contacts; she was able to push that to another 80% but she is now missing that final 20%. With that, it will never be completed.

There has to be someone else who is willing to give money, or at least invest.

Mdm, if we are to convince someone to fund the last 20%, we need to give them something worth of that money. I am afraid right now, we have nothing to guarantee...

As you are not Chungah Director, you don't have any say in how the funds or shares related to the entire group are to be used. The only thing you have is whatever physical assets, your money and maybe your shares in Chungah Art Centre.

We can't sell this place, neither can we use money to exchange for more money. The person won't be willing.

Suddenly, another staff member of Seojin ran in.

Mdm, we were just contacted by someone who says they wish to invest in Chungah Art Centre.

Really?? Who is this person?

I am not sure, but we were contacted through their lawyer. It seems legit Mdm. They said that if we are interested, we are to be at this restaurant at the allocated time.

Seojin paused for a while, this deal seemed too good to be true and maybe a bit shady. But she needed the money and it seems someone is willing to give it to her. Prepare everything, we will attend the meeting.

8PM, Somewhere in Seoul.

At the specified time, Seojin was waiting in a private room in a fancy Korean restaurant.

It is already 8pm, and the person has not shown, have we been freaking tricked. Just as Seojin was about to leave, the door to the private room opened. Two men wearing suits walked in.

That is very generous but I would like to know the reason why your client wishes to invest, and some more secretive?

Yes well, one of the reasons why our client is not here is mainly because he is not in Seoul. He resides overseas. Our client has always been someone who loves the arts and culture, our client often invested in various arts or culture projects around the world. So our client often keeps up to date, so our client was made aware of your plight.

I am delighted that your client wishes to help, however there must be something that your client is asking in return.

Yes of course, it is nothing much though. Our client wishes to have a say in who gets appointed Director of Chungah Art Centre. Our client always believes in selecting the best at the leadership level. Our client believes that if that is done properly, the rest of what needs to follow will be done right.

Well giving your client full rights is a bit too much, even if your client is funding us so much.

Our client is not asking for full rights, all our client is asking is that 10% of the votes belong to him.

Cheo Seojin quickly calculated, right now she had 40% of the board of Chungah Group willing to vote for her, even if this mysterious person received 10% it would not affect her. Plus Joo Dante and her own percentage, she would have about 45% more than enough to be elected Director.

Much appreciated Mdm, the money would be wired to you tomorrow. We will send your office a notification when that happens. We would like what was discussed to be in writing, only after our client sees the contract would the money be wired.

After the lawyers had left, Cheo Seojin cracked a smile, finally she was finally on the way to getting her position back
