185 | Things have changed

A month had passed by, Seokhoon and Rona only had about less than a month left before they were going to be flying back to New York. They had found out they made it through the audition round of the American Protégé Music Competition. When they arrived back in New York, they had about a month to prep for the next round. If they make it through this round, then it would be onto the finals.

During the one month Seokhoon and Rona were planning their upcoming joint concert, their wedding and rehearsing for the competition. By now, they had a well established daily routine. During the wedding preparation, Rona had reached out to Eunbyeol if she would like to be one of her bridesmaids. Eunbyeol had not expected Rona to ask her but she was more than happy to agree to it. Eunbyeol too had hoped that she and Rona would be able to establish some sort of relationship, even if it was not a sisterly one. She had seen how Seokkyung and Rona had managed to bury the hatchet and were slowly becoming friends. Eunbyeol was rather envious of that, so when Rona asked her, Eunbyeol was beyond happy.

Minhyeok and Jenny had also slowly gotten used to University. Both of their courses were tough but they both were determined to do well in school so they could reach their goals. Like Minhyeok said before, even though it is rather obvious to everyone that they two had good feelings towards each other. What was important to them right now, was focusing on their goals, in time perhaps when they were both ready, they would be together. Only time would tell.

Shimwo & Co had focused on consolidating their business and expanding as well.Shimwoo & Co now had several businesses and ventures under its name, such as Shimwoo Construction, Shimwoo Mall, Shimwoo Art High School and Shimwoo Hotel, along with their main furniture line. Yunis Beauty had been doing well also, in recent months, they had changed their name to Yunis to incorporate the various businesses now under this one name, Yunis still had its main company - Yunis Beauty which provided beauty services as well as products.

Currently Yoonhee serves as the chairman of Shimwoo Art Centre, however, even though Shimwoo Art Centre bore the name of Shimwoo, in actuality Yunis Beauty was the majority shareholder of Shimwoo Art Centre. With Shimwoo Art Centre under its umbrella, Yunis began to venture into the education sector. They had now created Yunis Culture, a company that's main mission was to provide music and art education to all. They not only focus on providing external programmes to schools but also creating programmes themselves for the paying public and/or for those who are less fortunate.

With the joint effort of Shimwoo, JohnBio and Yunis had come together to create a charity organisation which had different aims. The charity had three different aims, the first was to help those who needed medical assistance, this was taken up by JohnBio. The second, was to help those who were orphanages, this was spearheaded by Shimwoo & Co. Finally, the last was to provide scholarships to those who are less fortunate, this was taken up by Yunis.

As the time went on, whatever negativity that had been attached to Yoonchul, Yoonhee and Suryeon had completely washed over. Their companies were not only making a lot of money, but more importantly they were helping society and those around them. Everyone who were formerly from Hera Place, no longer walked around thinking that they were above the clouds and of the common people.

Shimwoo Constructions was now headed by Dongpil, while Kang Mari now served as Yoonhee's right hand woman. She was mainly in charge of Yunis Beauty now, while Yoonhee chose to focus more on Yunis Culture. Sangah, having proven her marketing and talking skills, had been promoted highly in the marketing department. She now works at Yunis, as Director of Marketing for the whole of Yunis's business. It seems a year ago, all of them were enemies or fighting for their lives. Who would have known that a year later, all of them would be actually working alongside each other, not out of fear or greed but out of mutual respect and friendship.

It helped that their children were all slowly getting along. Even though Eunbyeol at times was unsure how she ought to interact with the rest. But thanks to Jenny and Minhyeok, Eunbyeol was slowly coming out of her shell. She was now in art school, and decided to pursue the dream of becoming an art therapist one day. Seokkyung has enrolled into cooking school, she plans to become a food stylist/designer. Now the children were each working hard to achieve their own dreams. Dreams of their own.
