The American Protégé Music Competition process was fairly easy, to qualify first, they both needed to just submit an audition video that was no longer than 5 minutes. Rona could choose up to 3 songs from the following repertoire categories:

Opera aria

Classical repertoire (Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary periods)

Folk/Traditional

Broadway/Musical Theatre/Jazz

Rona thought about it and 5 minutes was too short to squeeze 3 songs, so she just chose to sing just one song from the Classical repertoire. Since both of them were going to be competitors, Rona did not get Seokhoon to be her accompanist. As for Seokhoon, his audition video could not exceed 7 minutes and he may choose one or two pieces from the standard repertoire (Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary periods). So after practising for about a week, they headed down to Shimwoo Art Centre to record the video clips.

After they had finished, they sent it off to Prof Clark and James, for them to give advice or comment. If everything was alright, they would submit their audition videos. With that audition taping finished, Seokhoon and Rona could for now concentrate on some of the details of their wedding.

Rona and Seokhoon were sitting in her room on the floor, there was a rather large stack of magazines on the floor. All the magazines were about weddings. Rona and Seokhoon flipped through the various articles and looked at the different wedding styles.

So, how do you envision your wedding?

Hmmm.. I like the idea of either an outdoor wedding or maybe a chapel kind of wedding?

Well considering we are going to be getting married in Winter, I guess outdoor is sort of out of the question?

Yeah, semester begins in August and we will only be back in Korea around November. So winter will be upon us.

So I guess we are going with chapel? Do you want to do a small ceremony first then a big one where we can invite other people like our mother's clients or business partners?

I would like a more private affair first, if it is possible.

Then let's do the wedding at a wedding hall that provides a chapel. I am sure there are many that provide such services.

That's a good idea, so we have the small ceremony first then dinner later? Maybe at a hotel?

Omma said that Shimwoo Hotel is already 60% completed, so how about there?

That sounds perfect, Omma can help us with the little details since Shimwoo Hotel would be under the Shimwoo & Co umbrella.

We can give her our rough visual idea, how we would want the event hall to look like.

Do you want to start looking for dresses now?

Omma said that I could look for dresses in New York and then either have it shipped or maybe find the exact same design in Korea. Omma said she will coordinate it with Peter.

Peter? As in Alex's staff?

Yeah, it seems Omma told Alex and he wanted to help out with the wedding. So Peter is going to be helping us.

That's good. What about bridesmaids?

Yeah, that. I have decided that I would want So Hyun to be my maid-of-honour. Do you think Seokkyung would be willing?

Of course, in the past month the two of you have begun to hang out a bit more. We sat in on one of her therapy sessions. I think it would be good for both of you.

Yeah, I like the idea that we can include her, but what about Eunbyeol.

Oh. What do you think? Do you want her involved in your wedding?

I don't know. I like the idea that through the wedding we can sort of forge a new relationship but I am not sure.

Hmmm. Why not ask Eunbyeol, if she rejected the idea then well you will know where she stands but if she accepts then that is your answer.

Okay, I am guessing you are asking Minhyeok, Ryo, Seungho and George to be your best men?

Yeah I only have 4 though, while you have potentially 5, so I may need to find one more person to match you.

Oh, right. Hmmm, let's wait and see then for now.

Sounds good.

Rona and Seokhoon continued into the night to talk about the details of the wedding. They will give their ideas to their mothers who would help coordinate things from here, as they continue to plan out the details while they are in New York.
