The day after the full day of interviews, Seokhoon and Rona said goodbye to Prof James and Maria. After which, Seokhoon and Rona checked out of their hotel. Since they were going to be holidaying in Europe till the New Year, they decided it would be easier to stay at a vacation rental where they could have a kitchen so they could cook their own meals.
Seokhoon chose a vacation rental that allowed him to rent the entire apartment. The flat had one bedroom and one bathroom. It was not a huge place compared to their condo in New York but it was located near the heart of the city of Brussels, and it was cozy enough for the couple.

Since they had been in Belgium for almost 3 weeks already, they were only going to spend the next 2 days in Belgium before moving to another European country, for Christmas and New Year. They decided to visit a nearby country - Luxembourg.
Christmas was right around the corner, so one of the must see places in Brussels would be to visit the Christmas markets. They decided to visit the Christmas markets later in the evening so they could catch the Christmas lights.

So after they had checked-in to their vacation rental, Seokhoon and Rona went around exploring Brussels. Their first stop was the Saint-Michel Cathedral. This was one of the most iconic sights in Belgium, the couple spent a good part of the morning exploring the church. Afterwards, they decided to head to a cafe to have some warm food and some hot chocolate (which was another Belgium speciality)
