107 | Double Date

The 10th week of school soon flew by and the weekend had arrived. Seungho and So Hyun's date was scheduled for Sunday. Even though Seungho was a bit upset that it was going to be a double date at first but after Seokhoon told him they would only be around for the meal part of the date, Seungho felt better.

Seungho spent the two weeks really thinking about where to bring So Hyun - he needed this date to be fun for her. Hopefully, this would open the door to more in the future. To make full use of the day, the two couples had decided to meet for a late breakfast at around 1030AM, after which they would separate to spend their dates alone.

Seokhoon had chosen the place to meet for breakfast. Rona and Seokhoon were up bright and early getting ready for the date. Seokhoon told Rona to make sure to bring along a jacket and maybe a scarf as they would be out till the night. Seokhoon decided to drive today, he thanked Marcus for the car.

I will Marcus. Thank you. After they drove off another car actually followed after them. As Alex had instructed, Seokhoon and Rona were to be watched at all times especially when they were moving around New York. Even though Peter knew that at this present moment, it seems no one had accepted the contract; it was better to be safe than sorry.

Time Out Market, New York

The Time Out Market was a curated space where you could find local food and drinks. Seokhoon and Rona had arrived and were waiting for So Hyun and Seungho at the entrance of the market. Seungho had driven to fetch So Hyun.

Do you think Seungho is nervous? Rona asked, laughing at her own question. She probably already knew the answer to that. Seokhoon smiled at Rona's laughter and nodded. Most likely, I wonder if the car ride would be awkward.

Well, we must do our best to ease them into it. I am pretty sure So Hyun actually likes Seungho, she just doesn't know how to express it.

Seungho's voice had rung out across the space. Seokhoon glared at him for ruining his sweet time with Rona. Rona, long forgetting about the kiss, ran to So Hyun.

Omo! You look so cute, but wouldn't you be cold, So Hyun. So Hyun was wearing a long skirt, sneakers and a t-shirt. Don't worry, Seungho reminded me to bring a jacket, it is in the car. So Hyun took a quick look and realised that the couple were not completely matching as they normally do. However, just standing together with their matching rings - they were indeed a beautiful couple. The group after saying their hellos headed into the market.

Seokhoon had picked the ​​Clinton St. Baking Company at the Time Out Market. They were famous for serving really good pancakes and breakfast food. Rona and So Hyun went to find seats while Seungho and Seokhoon placed orders for them.

About 15 minutes later, the food had arrived. Rona wow-ed at the sight of the food, the pancakes look so delicious. Seokhoon placed their signature Blueberry Pancakes in front of Rona. Here, you should try this - this is their signature meal. They had ordered two Blueberry Pancakes so everyone had a chance to try it. They soon dug in.

During the meal, Rona did her best to loosen the two of us. She knew that So Hyun; like her, was rather shy and it took awhile before she would open up and let loose. With some effort and a bit of help from Seokhoon, the meal was spent with lots of laughter and jokes. Rona could see that So Hyun was beginning to ease into it. Seungho went to get coffee for everyone and Rona took this chance to ask So Hyun how she was feeling.

So Hyun eyed Rona. You mean do I feel less awkward?

Hahah yeah exactly that.

Yup I do, to be honest in the car Seungho kept talking and asking me different questions. I could see he was trying to lighten the mood and make me comfortable so I was feeling less awkward already by that time.

That is good, he seems to be really conscious of you. I mean he helped cut your pancakes for you and shared with you his food.

So Hyun blushed a little, it is true that having been independent for so long, it was indeed strange to have someone who would help her with the little things. Seungho did it rather nonchalantly which made it more romantic.

Rona said goodbye to So Hyun and Seungho, they were going to separate from this market and go off on their own individual dates. Rona and Seokhon waited until So Hyun and Seungho were out of sight before making their way back to the car. Think they will be alright? Seokhoon kissed her hand.
