All the time that's gone by
since you've been mine
Has been nothing but amazing
and you still drive me crazy
When I catch you staring
at me smiling softly
I come over for a kiss
and I know I could die like this

"I'm sorry, but why would they have Steve be potentially involved with Natasha and Sharon if he's in love with Bucky," Violet said confusedly as she let the rest of the credits run for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The movie came out earlier that year, but since Violet was too busy on Broadway, she hadn't seen it yet. This prompted her to have a movie night with Sam and Blaine, so she could catch up.

Sam was confused, "Why do you think Steve's in love with Bucky?"

Violet furrowed her eyebrows, "Did we watch the same movie?"

"I mean, it's his childhood best friend, and Bucky reminded him of the time he lost," Sam tried to explain.

"I see where you're coming from. I get it. But don't you think that Steve was trying too hard to save Bucky. I mean, he's Captain America. He's the guy that willingly tried to serve his country and die for it despite all the fucked up shit, but when it comes to Bucky, who's basically too far gone and is trying to destroy the aforementioned country, Steve tries to save him?" Vi argued. "I don't know... it seems kinda like there's more there."

Blaine jumped in on the debate, "I don't know, Vi... I mean, it's a nice thought, but don't you think that Disney would, you know, not have that in the movie then?"

Violet argued, "Okay, but doesn't 'til the end of the line' sound a lot like 'til death do us part'? Like, don't you think there are other implications there that aren't just familial? Like doesn't that sound like more than just best friends?"

Blaine put his hands up in surrender, "I guess we'll see in the future movies. I mean, who knows?"

"I will say that they have more chemistry than any other couple in the MCU," Sam pointed out.

"It's because they've known each other their entire lives, and Steve is the one person that loves Bucky unconditionally even through all of the shit he's put Steve through because Bucky was always there for him. And Steve knows that underneath it all, Bucky loves him too. It's an emotional bond that's impossible to come between," Blaine explained.

Violet and Sam looked at each other knowingly. She cleared her throat slightly, "That was an, uh, in-depth analysis for a couple you don't even believe in."

Sam nodded, "Yeah. You used the word 'love' a lot too."

Blaine laughed awkwardly, "Well, platonic love exists too. That's what I meant."
