In the corner taking up space,
but when he walks in,
I am loved, I am loved.
Me and my husband,
we are doin' better.
It's always been just
him and me together.

"Artie, my mind is made up," Violet stated as she rolled him into Burt's Oil and Lube to find Finn. The two were spearheading the musical, and they needed an adult supervisor technically, so Artie had the great idea to recruit Finn which she was completely on board for.

Currently, Artie was trying to offer Violet the role of Rizzo or Sandy because it's her "birthright" and he also wanted to capitalize off of her Broadway fame again since it worked so well last year. But, Violet was adamant about just taking on the role of choreographer.

"C'mon, you were amazing last year. Plus, we brought in the largest audience that a McKinley musical had ever seen in decades," Artie tried to persuade.

She laughed, "That's because McKinley's theatre program had essentially $0, and no one who actually cared about it. We rebooted it last year, so of course, people are gonna come. Especially since we had so many football players."

"That may be true, but you brought in a lot of people too! I can only imagine you in Grease. I can see the headlines now, 'Broadway star stars as Sandy, the same role her Broadway legend mother played 18 years ago!'"

She cringed, "You might wanna work on that headline. Plus, my mother, who I do not want to associate with, is blonde who played Sandy. I have dark hair, and I'm half Asian. Doesn't that not fit the 'direction' you want to go in?"

He admitted, "Yes, but you have the notoriety. Plus, you could always play Rizzo."

"The answers still no, Artie. I want to be the choreographer."

Artie couldn't argue with her some more because they both had rolled up to Finn who was currently greased up and working on a car.

"We'll talk about this later," he whispered frustratedly before he quipped to Finn, "Why do I always feel so at home in a tire shop?" When he got no reaction from Finn, he clarified, "That was a joke."

"What do you guys want? I have a lot of work to do." Finn asked as he started replacing a tire on a bright lime green convertible.

Violet replied, "We just wanted to check in on you. You've had a rough couple of months, and since that Glee rehearsal, you haven't talked to any of us including me. We just thought that you could use a couple of friends."

Finn scoffed, "It's not that bad. I just embarrassed myself out of the army, lost Rachel completely, and now I'm back in my hometown working in a tire shop. Figure maybe my luck will change soon and one of the lifts will break, and I'll get crushed by a car."
