It was getting to that point in the year and rehearsals that Violet was starting to lose her patience. She felt like everyone around her was losing their minds. Subject A: Sue Sylvester.
"She-Hulk Jr, Porcelain, Weezy, you created a monster." Sue slapped down an issue of Time magazine where Unique's the cover, "They're calling Jesse St. James a visionary, and lauding Vocal Adrenaline for their ongoing commitment to diversity."
"But Jesse St. Jame was against Unique performing as his true magical self," Mercedes furrowed her eyebrows.
Violet rolled her eyes, "Why am I not surprised that somehow Jesse took credit for all of this?"
Kurt added, "Yeah, we were the ones who convinced him to do that."
"Well, then, you only have yourselves to blame. And the liberal media," Sue sneered.
Mercedes retorted, "Not really. It was your idea."
"I have no memory of that," Sue denied. "In any case, Unique is now a show choir celebrity. He/She will trounce us at Nationals–"
Violet interrupted, "I think she actually just prefers 'She.'"
"–and I will lose my Cheerios to Coach Roz Washington. I will not let that happen. We have but one choice left to us: It's time to fight fire with the flaming flames of additional flamey gay fire."
Sue opened a drawer and pulled out an ugly black dress with chunky rhinestones sewed onto it, "Porcelain, you will wear this flapper dress and perform at Nationals as Porcelina. You already have the lady gait and the lady voice, and you'll have to start smoking, though because this dress is a size two."
"Okay, just because I'm gay does not mean I like to dress up like a woman!"
"Oh, c'mon!" Sue exclaims.
"What about Halloween, Kurt?" Mercedes asked questioningly.
Violet tilted her head, "I mean that wasn't really drag though. Plus, Unique is being praised because she's a she, and if we put on someone in drag, it'd seem like we were mocking her or at best, copying her."
Sue shook her head, "But if we don't do this, then the New Directions will lose. Hate to say it, kiddo, but if we want to beat Vocal Adrenaline at Nationals, it's tuckin' time."

Another thing that has been getting on Violet's nerves is that Sue insists on doing "What A Feeling" with an insane amount of props, and Mr. Schue approved it. Mr. Schue also gave Rachel the solo Violet planned out instead of holding auditions like she wanted.
The only person that was actually helping her through this was Sam. He gladly accepted the role as her distraction from everything especially since she's been getting so stressed with Nationals prep. And luckily, Violet absolutely loves his impersonations, so whenever she looks like she's gonna blow up, he manages to diffuse her with an impersonation. Either that or they watch True Jackson VP together.
Violet was leaning against the piano in the choir room, next to Sue when Mr. Schue writes "Nationals" on the board.
"Nationals." Everyone started to cheer. The energy in the room was through the roof as they were excited to learn all of the choreography this week after so many rehearsals of Booty Camp and singing.
"Okay, song selection: We'll be kicking off our 'Vintage' theme with the legendary Jim Steinman's 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light.' Rachel will do the solo 'It's All–"
"Coming Back to Me Now." Rachel interrupted. "One of Celine Dion's most powerful ballads inspired by Wuthering Heights."
Violet then took back the reigns, "And we'll be working on a new Troubletones number–"
