Violet was in her free period playing her guitar in the choir room. She took out her old songwriting notebook because she thought that writing down her feelings would be cathartic. Violet and Santana had this "friends with benefits" situation, but sometimes, it felt like parts of her were wearing thin because all she wants to do is be with Santana.
She was jotting down some notes and singing a melody, but she couldn't quite come up with the lyrics. She just wrote what she was feeling into the notes she was writing. She hummed out loud what the melody would sound like when a voice interrupted her thoughts.
"That's sounding good." Violet looked up to see Finn with his hands in his pockets.
"Thanks." To be quite truthful, Violet was angry at Finn. He hasn't really done anything to protect Kurt or even help him. It seemed like the only thing Finn cared about was his reputation, but she knew that your reputation means jackshit.
"So... you're mad at me too..." Finn's voice trailed off.
Violet looked Finn in the eyes. "Yeah, I am." Finn was taken aback by her brutal honesty, but he also felt like he deserved it. He could've done more. Rachel even asked him to do more, but he didn't. He was just... there.
"Okay. I deserve that."
"Finn. You have a problem." Finn took a seat in a chair near Violet, and he looked at her confused. "You care more about your reputation and what random people think of you more than the people around you."
Finn began to protest. "N-No that's not true. I love my friends and my family–"
Violet maintained her eye-contact with Finn, but he kept looking down at his hands in his lap. "But I'm not saying that you don't. I've been in the background of Glee Club a lot. You learn a lot about the people in Glee when you're in the jazz band. And... you. You may not want it as obviously as Quinn or Santana or even Sam, but you still care. And you sacrifice your relationships when you do that. Like, take for example you dancing with Kurt during his dance seminar. You don't really know or care about the people in the halls, but you still insisted on keeping the door closed. The dance wasn't about you though. It was about making Burt and especially your mom happy. You just... you need to focus on the people you love, dude."
Finn was really taking what everything she was saying to heart. He royally screwed up by not defending Kurt, and he wanted to make it up to him. "Can you help me?"
"With?"
"Making it up to Kurt. You're right. I need to focus on the people I love, and I need to make it up to him." Finn got up and started pacing. He had an idea, but he didn't know if he'd be able to pull it off especially since it dealt with him dancing.
"Okay, so what do you have in mind?"

Violet came to the wedding venue early with a box of centerpieces, a guitar strapped to her back, and not dressed for the occasion.
She sees Kurt running down the hall in a flurry, "Good! You have the centerpieces! Okay, the reception hall will be through that room, and just put a centerpiece on each table and help set up the jazz band. I've got a lot of stuff already handled, and you need to get dressed." Before Violet could even compliment everything that Kurt has managed to accomplish, he bolted off to go manage another aspect of the wedding so that it is perfect.
Once she finished all of her tasks for helping Kurt out, she went to the "green room" that Kurt designated for the girls and the guys to get ready in. Violet had just gotten her dress on, but she still needed to do her makeup. She was working on a simple makeup look of eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick when Santana came in.
