"I'm just not that big of a fan of Valentine's day." Violet was sat next to Santana as they waited for Glee Club to start. "I mean even when I wasn't even single last year, me and my girlfriend didn't do anything. I just don't understand the concept of appreciating your significant one EXTRA when you should be doing that anyways, ya know?"
Santana shrugged, "I don't know, I just like getting all of the gifts guys get me. I can't wait to see what Puck gets me this year."
Violet was confused. She thought they settled that discussion topic weeks ago when there was that Glee girls meeting, but it resurfaced again. Plus, Puck was clearly fawning over Lauren Zizes. "Um... yeah... sure." Violet just tried to let it go.
"Oh by the way, how's your arm?"
This was the start of the second week of Violet having the sling on after she got sacked in the championship game. She was just cleared to start stretching it out this week and eventually start building muscle back up. Luckily, Sam offered to help her out since he pretty much took care of his shoulder injury rehab by himself.
"It's still sore, but it doesn't hurt as bad anymore. I just think it's because of the meds though. The most annoying part is actually just going to the nurse to take the meds."
Santana then leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Ya know, if you're actually feeling better, and since your dad's out of town... we could have a little Valentine's Day playdate at your house if you're feeling up for it."
Violet bit her lip and said, "We'll see how I'm feeling, but the answer right now is yes." To both Santana and Violet's dismay, their agreement had to take a pause last week to let Violet properly heal. Both of them just spent the week as friends... who flirted, but friends none the less. Violet thought that this would make her feelings for her lessen, but they only grew, and she just didn't know what to do anymore.
The chatter in the room was cut off by Mr. Schue walking in and writing on the board the word "Love" which made Violet groan. "I have one word for you." Brittany then raised her hand, "Brittany."
"Is it 'love'?" Mr. Schue nodded and Brittany cheered which made Violet smile.
"I'm totally going to graduate now!"
Mr. Schue continued, "Valentine's Day is coming up, so for this week's lesson, I want you guys to pick a partner because you're going to sing them what you think is the world's greatest love song. Yeah, find a song that communicates all the things that love means to you. Now, partner up."
A lot of the Glee Club were already paired off into couples, but Violet really did not want to participate in this lesson. Valentine's day just wasn't her thing. Plus, if there's one person that she'd sing to, it'd be Santana, which is difficult for so many reasons.

Finn then raised his hand, "Mr. Schue, can I say something?" Finn then went to the center of the choir room. "I just wanted to point out that for the first time, an entire week has gone by without any one of us getting slushied. I think the fact that I led the football team to a conference championship might have something to do with it." Violet rolled her eyes. This past week, Finn has been almost at a Rachel Berry level of insufferable. He might actually be more insufferable than Rachel is right now just because so many girls were enabling his douchey behavior. "Fact is that I'm the closest thing that this Glee Club has to a celebrity right now, and just like a famous athlete, I want to give to a charity... you guys. So I'm setting up a kissing booth for a dollar a smooch, and donating the proceeds to Glee Club to help us–"
