The aftermath of the slap was intense. After that happened, Mr. Schue and Ms. Corcoran had to immediately report the incident to Principal Figgins even though Finn didn't want to. Well, actually, they didn't know what Finn wanted because he was still so in shock over everything until he finally processed in. He told people from both Glee Clubs that they should combine for the week. No one really knew why or what his plan was besides Kurt, and Kurt obviously told Blaine and Violet.

It was time for Glee Club that Monday, and Violet was walking with Kurt to Glee Club in the choir room. A room that she hadn't really stepped into in a while.

"I'm just not a fan of this week's lesson. It just feels so wrong."

Kurt looked at his friend in confusion, "What? Why? I think Finn's just trying to extend an olive branch."

Violet rolled her eyes, "By basically forcing Santana to come out of the closet?"

"She's gonna be outed anyway this week. I think he's just trying to help her accept it. He was talking to me about how he didn't want her to be one of those people that tries to kill themselves because they internalize all of this stuff like how Santana does."

Violet sighed. She understood where Finn was coming from, but she still thought that it was poorly executed. "But she should still have some power over coming out and accepting it. He should've asked her if it was okay or not because this might not be the best way to get her to come to terms with her sexuality."

"I guess you're right..."

Violet noticed Kurt's overall sad demeanor, "A penny for your thoughts?"

"I'm just worried about the election. I'm falling behind Britt by a lot, and there's no way that I can actually win this thing, and I need to have that on my application to get into NYADA."

Violet put a supportive hand on his shoulder, "I'm sure that it'll work out. We can brainstorm other ideas to bulk up your application later okay?"

He accepted her offer as the two walked into the choir room and split off to their respective sides. Violet sat next to Mercedes and the rest of the Troubletones, and she was just dreading this lesson.

Finn was starting to write "Lady Music Week" on the board when Mercedes frustratedly asked, "Can someone tell us what's going on, please?"

Finn turned around, "This week, the Troubletones and New Directions will both be singing music created by ladies and for ladies."

"Oh hell no." Santana immediately responded.

Finn continued, "Next week, all of us will be going to Sectionals and one of us is probably gonna win. But, Santana, we're worried about you."

"Worry about yourself, fetus face," Santana narrowed her eyes at him.

"Glee's about learning how to accept yourself for who you are, no matter what other people think, and that's what this music is all about."

"So what? I don't even get a say in this? Not cool." Violet internally groaned at Santana's response. She knew this was a bad idea, but no one would listen to her. It was like she was back in the New Directions again.

He walked up closer to Santana to try and explain further. "Everybody in this room knows about you and Brittany, and we don't judge you for it. We celebrate it because it's who you are. Look, I know not everybody outside of this room is as accepting and cool, but we're doing this assignment this week so that you know in this rotten, stinking mean world that you at least have a group of people who will support your choice to be whoever you want to be. That's it. That's what we're doing here."
