When Sam opened his eyes that morning, he saw Violet's brown eyes illuminated by the ray of light gleaming through the blinds.

"Weirdo," he smiled while he rubbed his eyes slightly.

"Hey, I'm just in love. Sue me," Violet giggled.

Sam gave her a chaste kiss on the lips before getting up and heading to the bathroom, "Well, you might've done all of the work last night, but I'm still sweaty, so I have to shower."

"Don't take too long!" Violet yelled slightly. "We still have to go in an hour, and I'm making breakfast."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."

After Sam's shower, he saw Violet with probably the largest grin on her face, and she looked like she was hiding something behind her back.

"Sit down," Violet said excitedly.

Sam looked at her hesitantly and then took a seat at the kitchen table. She then puts a plate down in front of him, and on that plate, there was one big pancake with he word "PROM?" in it.

"Aren't I supposed to do this?" he laughed.

"It's 2012, buttercup. I can do what I want, but is that a yes?"

Sam got up from his seat and gazed into his girlfriend's eyes, "Yes, of course I'll go to prom with you!" Violet grinned and then started peppering his face with kisses. Sam chuckled, "This might be better than the pancake art."

"But is this better than last night?" Violet smirked.

He furiously shook his head, "Last night was..." his voice trailed.

She flipped her hair overdramatically, "I know."

"Good morning, McKinley High!" Coach Sue's voice rang out from the loudspeaker interrupting class. Violet glanced beside her at Quinn with a look of amusement.

"First of all, to those of you thoughtful enough to leave maternity gifts outside my office, both I and my unborn child thank you for your lackluster Cracker Barrel meat-and-cheese medleys, and I'm sure that my trashcan will find them delicious. Now it's time to announce this year's Senior Prom Court nominees."

"So what are your plans gonna be for prom?" Violet asked Quinn.

She sighed, "Hopefully prom court, but I don't know. I don't know who I'd go with..."

"Joe," Violet faked a cough.

Quinn gave her a pointed look, "Seriously?"

"Seriously! You guys are really cute together."

She was then cut off by the silence of the room and Sue's voice blasting through, "And now on to the category we all really care about: Prom Queen."

"Beck for Prom Queen 2012!" Becky's voice sounded.

Sue continued, "Missy Gunderson." One of the semi-popular girls in their class immediately started receiving cheers and congratulations from the people around her. If Violet was being honest, she really didn't know who she was.

"Santana Lopez. And Quinn Fabray," Violet grinned at the sound of both of her friends' names. She turned over to Quinn and there was a small smile on her face. After everything that Quinn's gone through this year, she deserves this. She deserves to be celebrated after surviving the year that she's had.

"Congratulations to all our nominees... Becky, Becky, Becky! That's an antique!" The sound of the speaker immediately cut out at the sound of what was assumably Becky bashing in a glockenspiel.
