Chapter Thirty-Nine

One week later

"Luna! Rory! Come on bambini! We have to leave in five minuets." I called.
"Coming Stefania!"
"Coming Mamma!"

I took a shaky breath and wiped my sweaty hands on my dress. Adoption day. I was fucking terrified. I knew nothing was going to go wrong, but still. Absolutely terrified.

"Hey babe, you good?" Y/N asked as she walked into the kitchen in a black skirt, and a white button up top tucked into it.
"Now that I see you in that? Sì. So good." I let my eyes roam over her body. The outfit looked professional, and so, so sexy at the same time.
"Hey, get your mind out of the gutter ma'am." Y/N smirked as she pulled on her black heels.
"Are you ready for this, Mrs. Spampinato?" I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close.
"One hundred percent, Mrs. Spampinato." She kissed me gently.
"Ewwww." We heard Rory say.

We broke apart to see Rory standing there making a face and Luna smiling down at her.
"Hey, we're in love. We're married. I get to kiss my wife whenever I want." Y/N walked over to Rory and booped her nose.
"You two look beautiful. I love your dresses."

We had bought Xander a little baby suit, and Rory and Luna matching black dresses with white polka dots and flats.
"Thank you." Luna gave me a small smile.

She had definitely warmed up to us, but she was still a little shy and hadn't opened up too much. But, we had got her a private tutor, and she started sessions with her in a week at the set while we worked just to see where she was a academically.
"Okay kiddos. Let's go do this."

We arrived at the courthouse thirty minuets later, and walked inside.
"Hey!"
We looked to the side and saw that the whole Station 19 cast had shown up.
"You guys! You all didn't have to come!" I said as I gave everyone hugs.

I looked behind me and saw Y/N kneeling down and whispering to Luna, who was nervously picking on her nails.
Y/N moved her hands up and down, and I knew Luna was on the verge of having a panic attack.

"Excuse me." I handed Xander to Jay, and walked over to them.
"Hey, bambina. Are you okay?"
"J-Just a lot of people." She stuttered out.
"Look at me honey, just breathe. In and out like we practiced." Y/N said gently.

Luna took a few deep breaths with her eyes closed.
"Better?"
Luna nodded and opened her eyes.

"Are you okay with them being here?" I asked.
"Yes. I'm sorry I just didn't expect to be around so many people."
"Never apologize for your feelings bambina. Do you remember me and Y/N telling you about our co workers? That's who the rest of those people are. You already know Jaina, Dani, and Barrett. They're all great people. Do you want to meet them?"
She looked behind me at them, and looked back at me. "That one guy is big."
"That's Oak. He's a teddy bear. He looks scary, but let me tell you a secret. He's scared of spiders. He makes me kill them." I chuckled.
She giggled and nodded her head.

I stood up and held out my hand, and she gently took it.
The three of us walked back over to the group, "Everyone, this is Luna. Luna, this is Grey, Jason, Jay, Boris, Oak, Lachlan and Carlos."

She gave them a little wave and put her head down shyly.

"Spampinato?" Someone called out.
"Coming!" Y/N called.
"Hey Luna, do you wanna sit with me while they go up there?" Jaina asked as we all walked into the room.
She gave her a nod and took her hand.
