Nearly 2 weeks flew by and you had loved every minute of it.

Happy had bought you your things the day you got there and you didn't bother putting them away until the following day because you were enjoying your time getting to know the team. When you did get around to putting them away you realised how much stuff you didn't have compared to the amount of space you had in your room.

You started training with Nat the day after and you were ready to drop dead by the time the first training session had finished, she had worked you that hard. You weren't in the best of shape but she was impressed with your fighting as you managed to recall some of the stuff you had learnt in your karate lessons you had for a few months when you were younger. She also said you'd be training every day with her and you could feel yourself get better at fighting and get in better shape every day, even if every day you ached profusely

A week after you had arrived Pepper came to see you dragged you shopping with her and Nat when they both saw how empty your room looked. You were reluctant to buy much but Pepper insisted as Tony was paying so you picked up more books, clothes and decorations for your room. The pair also made you pick out a few dresses for events and parties that you would inevitably be attending now you lived at the Avengers tower

You got to get to know the team a lot better and you loved them all to bits. Steve was everyone's mom and made sure you were all always alright and Nat was becoming your best friend quickly. You spent a decent amount of time with Tony and Bruce in the labs because their work just seemed to fascinate you and you were surprised to find how chilled out and even sometimes timid Bruce was. Clint was quiet a lot but didn't shy away from conversations and you could have sworn you saw him in the vents once or twice which made you chuckle to yourself. And Thor was a big, massive teddy bear and was like your big brother.

Your blue shimmer had even made an appearance a few times in front of the team too and they all seemed to love it and comment on how pretty it was.

You were so happy and comfortable with your new life here and you couldn't imagine it any other way.

It was in your second week when things seemed to get more interesting. Thor had been gone for two days and when he arrived back home, he wasn't alone.

"Friends, I have returned!" He announced, not realising there was only you there as he walked in the lounge from the elevator and you ran over to him and gave him a big hug. "I missed you too, Little One" he laughed as he hugged you back.

When you let go of him you were acutely aware of someone else in the room behind him

"You've bought a friend?" You asked and took a few steps back from him and saw he was giving me a questioning look

"How do you know?" He asked simply

"I...don't know. I just do?" You answered, not really sure why you knew

Thor stepped to the side to reveal Loki, the God of Mischief. He was a sight to behold if you had ever seen one. His eyes were the shade of emeralds and his hair was as jet black as a raven's feathers but on closer inspection you noticed that dark hair was matted and messy. There were also dark circles under his eyes and didn't seem to fill out his clothes properly.

When he caught you staring he glared at you, not saying a word.

You raised an eyebrow at him and stuck your hand out to him and said with a smile "Hi, im Y/N" You left your hand out for at least 10 seconds and when he didn't even acknowledge you had spoken to him you chuckled and commented "I thought royalty were taught to have manners"

He looked slightly taken aback at that but you turned around and went to lounge on the settee that that you had claimed as your own

"Don't mind him, he is still a bit bitter from his time in the dungeons" Thor said looking apologetic

I waved him off, "No worries. You know the others are going to flip out when they find out he's here right? Why is he here by the way?"

Thor looked so uncomfortable that I started to worry before he spoke. "Well, he's going to be staying with us" he finally said and I nearly choked on thin air

"Good luck with telling the team that" you snorted, noticing Loki wince slightly at the comment

"Yeh...it will be...interesting" Thor agreed and looked like he didn't know what to do with himself. "Where are they?"

"Urm, in one of the conference rooms on the 45th floor. Hey, itd go better if Loki wasn't with you when you tell them, shall we go and show him to one of the spare rooms?" You suggested

Thor's face lit up at your willingness to help him with his situation. "Yes please, Lady Y/N"

So you all huddled into the elevator and you noticed Loki tried to stay as far away from you and Thor as he could. You all went up to the floor your room was on as you knew there were spare rooms on your floor

"Here you go, you can have this room" You said as you opened the door to the room opposite yours and lead them both in there.

Loki stood in the middle of the room and looked around it, the lack of expression on his face didn't change.

"Make yourself at home" You said and pulled Thor out of there and into your room and closed the door behind you

"Lady Y/N?" Thor looked confused

"If you want me on your side in this you have to tell me everything so start from the beginning" You said as you sat on the settee and the end of your bed and tapped the spot next to you indicating for Thor to join you, which he did and he dove into it and you weren't prepared for what you were told
