Chapter 39 - Heartbreak and killer bots

Two days passed by and you hadn't heard anything from Loki and you were starting to get really worried about him. These dark elves killed Frigga and you didn't want the same to happen to Loki. Or Thor of course. 

Then came Tonys party which helped take your mind off things for a little while but eventually it made you miss Loki at the same time. You spent enough time there and chatted to enough people to not cause concern when you retired to your room as people started leaving

You took a nice hot shower and got into your fluffiest pyjamas and cuddled up in bed with your teddy and put on netflix.

"Hey, JARVIS, how's the party going?" You asked the AI, wondering if they were all still partying it up

When you got no reply you thought it was odd so you searched the tower with your magic to brush the minds of the team to see what was up but there was a mind you weren't familiar with. A hostile mind. A strange mind. One not of that world. And it put you on full alert. You changed into your super suit with your magic and teleported down to where the team was

"Y/N hey! Why're you in your suit?" Clint asked from sitting on a sofa.

"Tony, somethings wrong. There's a hostile in here, but it's strange" You warned the others but before you could explain the wall across the room blew in.

You threw up a shield around all of your friends so none of the debris hit them and you saw one of Tonys Iron Legion bots walk through it

"Stark" Steve said

"JARVIS" Tony said as he looked at his phone

"JARVIS is down. Already tried him" You told Tony who looked worried now

"Ah i had to kill that other guy" The Legion suit said

"You killed someone?" Steve asked

"I didn't want to but in the real world you're faced with hard choices" the suit said, stumbling a little around

"Who sent you here?" Nat asked the suit and a video of Tony popped up where he was saying 'I see a suit of armour around the world'

"Oo your suit just outed you, Tony" I sniggered but Tony gave you a glare. Not something he had done before.

"You're Ultron, aren't you?" Bruce asked the suit in realisation.

"In the flesh, or so to speak" the bot who you now knew as Ultron said and if he could show facial expressions, you know he would be smirking. You were both awestruck and terrified of what Tony had managed to accomplish. 

"Oo you mad scientist-ed out didn't you?" You asked Bruce who very worriedly nodded to you. "I knew you two could do it" Tony gave you a weak smile

"Yes, well. I'm ready to start my mission" Ultron said very matter-of-factly

"What's that then, bud?" You asked Ultron who turned to you

A video popped up of Tony, again, saying "Peace in our time" and more things burst through the walls and you managed to shield the group from being directly hit right off the bat but it also knocked you back a bit, lowering your shields

An all out fight broke out between everyone in the room against Ultron and his bots. You saw Nat pull Bruce behind the bar to stop him from Hulking out and Tony called for his suit. You decided to take on the big guy. You reached for your sword and extended it and ran for Ultron.

You jumped at him and he blocked your sword with his arm and hit you in the chest, throwing you across the room. You used your magic to stop you from crashing into the floor and flew right back at Ultron, slashing and stabbing away at him. You were getting a bit bored of the fighting so you clipped your sword back on your belt and created a shield around Ultron, containing him in one spot hovering off the floor. You heard everyone around you go a bit quieter and figured they had finished with their bots so you compressed the shield around Ultron, making it smaller until he was nothing but a ball of metal, all of his circuits totally fried

"Why didn't you do that in the first place?" Rhodey asked you, a wild look on his face

"Thought i'd give you guys a chance" You smirked to the team who were all looking at you baffled. "So, we good now, we got them all?"

"Well, the ones that were here. Who knows where else he went" Tony said. "We need to get to the labs"

15 minutes later you were all in the lab and had looked into what had happened

"All our work is gone. Ultron cleared out, used the internet as an escape hatch" Bruce said eventually

"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other" Nat said, looking really worried

"Well, I mean if i wanted to I could know all your deep dark secrets" You shrugged your shoulder

"Not now Y/N" Steve snapped at you which got a lot of shocked faces in response. You held your hands up and backed off a step

"He's in the internet. What if he decides to go after something a bit more spicy?" Rhodey said

"Nuclear codes!" Agent Hill, who I barely even realised was there, said and Rhodey was nodding in agreement.

"Well what about when he said he killed somebody?" Clint asked

"There wasn't anyone else in the building" Hill said, confused

Your head snapped towards Tony. You realised what had happened now and Tony nodded to you looking like he was ready to cry

"Yes there was," you gasped. "He killed JARVIS!" As Tony pulled up a destroyed hologram of what was left of JARVIS in front of him

You walked over to Tony and put an arm around him and reached for the hologram. "Oh, JARVIS" you whispered and Tony squeezed your shoulder. It was a sad day indeed

Suddenly the bifrost lit up outside.

"Tony, you find this son of a bitch, he will pay for what he did to J" you said to Tony and he nodded to you as you teleported up to the roof to Thor and Loki. Only Loki wasn't there...
